I get that Midlands I went totally south. Literally It's a shame at the time that all the plaudits about his actions weren't followed by more clubs and the presenters who patted him on the back. Small club,small support Outside not inside If a so called big club took a stand and highlighted it then it may have took off. But they won't will they Dosh is god. There surely has to be a set % on a sale or purchase

Shed loads of money, lots of rest between games etc. In the long run it might be more fun for the rest of us in a way - we will see.

Pretty much agree with your sentiments on this and I too expect there to be a breakaway League sometime soon.

Shed loads of money, lots of rest between games etc.
In the long run it might be more fun for the rest of us in a way - we will see.

Most agents are blood sucking leeches who suck huge amounts of money out of the game for their own personal gain, that could otherwise have gone to the clubs to develop facilities. They are also partly responsible for the hyper inflation in player's wages and transfer fees, which have reached ludicrous levels. Many agents are personally making more money in profit than most football clubs and it is they and the players who are the main benficiaries of the TV money in the game, not the Clubs, the Community, or the Supporters.

They are also partly responsible for the hyper inflation in player's wages and transfer fees, which have reached ludicrous levels.
Many agents are personally making more money in profit than most football clubs and it is they and the players who are the main benficiaries of the TV money in the game, not the Clubs, the Community, or the Supporters.

It is coming. Got to disagree with you there. It was only 2 seasons ago that Leicester won the premier league. We ourselves beat some top clubs last season, like Arsenal and Chelsea and we usually take a big scalp every season. The premier league is more competitive than its ever been, and anyone can beat anyone on the day. Its just that Man City are looking incredibly good at the moment, and we are incredibly poor. You do not really believe a single p more would be spent by clubs on facilities if they saved on agent's fees do you?

I think this season and next will see the top clubs take it to a different level in the way that they spend money on players purchase and wages and this is where the breakaway will come from. We were crap on Saturday and they were excellent but they, United, maybe Chelsea and Spurs will start to dominate the rest of the league in a way they haven't before in my opinion. Arsenal and Liverpool are second class Citizens now and will top the also rans. Let's look again at the end of the season - I hope I am wrong but fear that Rudi's staement was pretty much spot on!
