Oh ok, so we're not allowed to talk about/criticise then? If you'd bothered to read the other threads on the same subject with the same discussions, you wouldn't be posting comments on here nor would anyone else. The repetition on these boards is nauseating.

But why be so repetitive. What is his strike rate since he's been here? To be fair to him when he's on form he is one of the best when it comes to putting a header away. It's just he hasn't looked close to that kinda form this year. But what with all the upheaval the clubs gone through these last months I guess we can't blame him. Fact is he's out and Roy is gonna have to find a solution. Apparently the young lad Ladapo hasn't got a great strike rate in the lower leagues so maybe looking to him is wishful thinking. Maybe RLC as a fulse number 9. With Cabaye, Luka and Riedewalde in the middle protecting. Something like: Hennessy TFM, Dann, Sakho, PVA Luka, Reidewalde Cabaye Andros, RLC, Sako

Surely we can sign on a free agent for a couple of months.... We could but would probably be another under par player on the wage bill. Unfortunately we have backed ourselves into a corner in this department. If this area does need looking at by Jan then we have to surely bring in somebody early Jan ? Could easily be gone by the end of Jan.

And we let Niasse slip through the net cos we wouldn't pay agents fees. What a great money pinching decision that was. See the two great goals he scored yesterday off the bench to turn around the game for Everton. Mistake after mistake this year by the Board. Quite amusing though that the same fans that were slagging SP for not going for better than Niasse on Deadline Day are now slagging SP for not bringing Niasse in. What a strange set of fans we have!

Not really, we've known we needed a striker since January. Even more so since June and to get to the last day of the window without a sniff is frustrating. To then lose a fairly mediocre signing that a fee is agreed and will at least give us an option is downright incompetent. We've got a big kitty in January, hooray, January is going to be far too late though. Best put that kitty into stocks and shares and hope it covers the Premiership money we will lose.

Has everyone forgotten that we DO have a second striker at our club ???
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |
