Yet there are many on here who suggest we are a club run by a man who knows what he is doing.

I don't care if it is Citeh but we have created a team with no idea how to put the ball in the net and a manager who needs to be collecting his pension.

Thats a bit of a wally statement as Roy seems to be getting the team in better shape than they were.

But does that not matter because he's old?

Or sorry we lost against Man City. Maybe we should boo Roy first half next game then. Yeah?

Todays first half performance suggested Roy knows what he is doing and already having a positive effect. Anyway, given his age, Roy is already collecting his pension as well as his Palace salary - hope that make you feel better Orpington!

Agree ,, At least we fielded our strongest XI and looked more organised.
Would have beaten a crap side like Huddersfield , Swansea or Burnley today.
Will take a while to get them out of the half paced football that Frank was trying to make them play.

Parish knows little more than any other fan who's never played football or has just started watching it live every week a few years ago. Business decisions, yes. Football ones, no. His luck and chancing it without cover will kill us. Say it every year but it's all alright because it was so good last year, forgetting the cost of the left back problem for example.

I have/had a lot of time for the guy he's done wonders for us in a business sense in the past, but now he seems to be running the place like he's playing Football Manager, doing the Chairman's job, the Manager's job and he seems to think he has a saved game he can reload if his risky decisions go tits up.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

Beginning to be a very depressing season AGAIN, yes longest we have been in the PL, yes we have expensive players. Trouble is we don't have the management to oversee our progress. WE MISSED OUT ON SILVA and for that reason alone I am very fed up with what is going on at my wonderful club.

We're not there yet. It could be this season...... I do strongly doubt it though when we get next couple games out the way and zaha is back. We will be ok 👌

10 and a half hours without a PL goal, and failed to score in 10 of our last 11. That really is appalling. We were awful last season and little was done in the summer to rectify that. Sorry but Parish and Co have let us down.

The optimist in me says we can turn things around, yet how long will our luck go on for ? We have had a lot of luck in the past 5-6 years.

It must also be daunting for the players - year after year , playing to avoid relegation, coming perilously close, and just surviving.

Anything is technically possible but I just can't see us staying up right now.

If we can go for a whole season without scoring a goal that's surely a record of achievement better than Arsenal's " Invincibles"
