Not a season to be caring about cups, I should think. Hopefully we can at least get a win without having to play any first teamers.

Glad you think so!
After knocking out Watford & Stoke, we kind of feel we have a winnable tie here too.

I said hopefully. You probably shouldn't have too much fear for our second XI, which doesn't include a striker.

Even before knocking out Watford and Stoke I should think.

Looking on the BC forum they're very confident of knocking us out. To be fair I would be to if I were them given our start in the league. Although some of them are treating it as a nailed on win and one guy even mentioned about getting to the final and a Europa league place!!

If I'm honest I couldn't care less, the league has to be our priority. Although one thing I did think from the Huddersfield game is we played like we had no pressure on us at all which was a good thing, especially for the fringe players who were getting a start.

I've always found Bristol City a bit irrelevant really. A club destined to just tread water and who you easily forget about. A bit like that cousin we all have that you have that you have to bump into every 12 months at a family do... Hard to remember, then easily forgotten once the party is over.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I am gonna get even more s**t if we don't beat them.
I'll be there, as it's about a mile from my work. Will try and bring a load of gas heads with me as well!

Oh yeah... they are scoring for fun this season, but do tend to let the first goal in.

You've just described how a lot of clubs probably view us :-)

We have a big Bristol office - I need to crack on and organise some meetings down there. One of my colleagues is a BC season ticket holder so it could be a lively day down there!

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Last time I was there, Albert Adomah ripped us apart and they stuck four past us. However it was a turning point for us and set us on the path to the premiere league. Let's hope it's a turning point again.

has resisted writing a single post on the Ross McCormack thread !!!

I remember in our promo season, midweek at the back end I think, he was shyte, and made everyone glad we didn't sign him. Or was it during us being interested?

I've no doubt they do... I'd like to think we've achieved a bit more than them and had a bit more excitement in the last 30 years though.

True. Are they the only English city, well a proper large one and not the Lincoln City size, that hasn't made the prem? My heart bleeds. They actually have that unrealised potential like us.
