No sustained form for nearly 2 years.
3 managers quiting without having another job to go to.
Today's team was made up of signings from 7 managers.
Boardroom disharmony, I understand Parish didn't even know FDB had been sacked by the Americans hence his drunk sounding twittering on Sunday night.
An extremely poor transfer window that didn't address urgent needs.
And to top it all reports / rumours of player power.
Good luck Roy.

Assuming we end up eight games gone and nulle points we will have eleven games left until the halfway point and we will need to win six of them if we aren't to be cut adrift by then.

Leicester
Wet Spam
Seaweed
Bournemouth
Stoke
Toon

You don't need to win that many because in the last 10 or so games you can and teams do pick up more than 1 point per game.

The hard facts are with Zaha and Sakho we will be very average. Without them we are simply not good enough.
Those two coming back soon will improve us and we might win again by scoring some goals. But we must be favourites for relegation right now.
All the above posts pointing out very valid issues just add to our woes.
We are going to struggle.

The football has been so sh@t this season that the only thing I enjoy on match days is a pint beforehand and my trip to the chicken shop afterwards.

My son wants a new Palace shirt. Normally I would get his favourite player printed on the back - this year i'm thinking about getting MORLEYS emblazoned across the back as its the best thing about our Saturdays at the moment.

We will know our fait by Christmas, regrettable as it may sound but we will be all but relegated by the time that we play Arsenal on Boxing Day, just in time for the players agents to start sorting out their moves .... I suspect that we wil end up doing a Blackburn,Wigan, Blackpool and dare I say it Charlton as we slip deep into decline and debt.
I just can't see any reaction, a new manager today and the response from the players was .............. Naff all !

We brought a bit of American money to Selhurst Park and these guys pull the strings. They have no idea about football or the premier league. Liverpool and Man Utd both had problems with Americans and they are far bigger clubs than Palace.
Parish is their man to do the dirty work.I appreciate they need to try to protect their investment,I think they might loose some of their money. It won't hurt them very much they have enough, but they are destroying Crystal Palace.

When Parish kept faith with Pardew after the 2016 Cup Final we were toast.
We have never recovered despite staying up.
When they are all fit we have a good first team but we are unbalanced and short on quality.
I hope i am wrong but with Hodgson in charge we have no inspiration either.
Relegation is staring us in the face already and sadly for the first time ever i have to look at Steve Parish - i think he has made one error too many now.

You have problems if the highlight of your week is a visit to a morleys chicken shop.

Simple answer, the players are not good enough. We have maybe 5 players that are quality, the rest make up the team. You can tell we have real problems with quality when no-one is interested in buying our players. I wouldn't want to buy them either.

We shouldn't have sold Yannick Bolasie. He provided fizz and excitement in attack. Perhaps we could resign him in January if he's back to fitness.

What if he's injured here?

The problem is there's a few over 11 quality players so in several positions there's only 1.

1 striker.

2 decent wingers for 2 wings.

1 decent RB in mensah who has to play CB.

1 number 10 in Cheek who's only just come back in.

1 cr@p keeper.

Far too many to play cr@p and keep their place or make mistakes or weak links. Oh and Puncheon being captain needs to change asap so it'll mean dropping him more likely. Make Sakho or Luca captain on Monday.
