This is a link of the 25 man squad and despite Costa not in favour and remy leaving after deadline day. Remy was named in the squad of 25 man squad. His now left so they have a place available. That's the best I found so far. Thank you for the 'Link' however it doesn't categorically state that ALL players over 21 have to be named in the 25 man squad. I am fully aware of the HGP criteria and the fact that those under 21 need not be named in the '25' but not aware of the so called 'New rule' which you have mentioned. In any event one doesn't HAVE to name 25 players which of course has been applicable to us !

Why has the likes of lapado been named along with mutch and Kai Kai to a degree where 12 months these players weren't considered good enough. Given a free transfer of boateng being able to leave. I haven't got a defiant link.

Jonny Williams was shoved out on loan on transfer deadline day so that he didn't have to be included. I assume that long term injured players like Wickham also have to be included even if they are unlikely to play so we should come to an agreement with a League 2 club to take him on loan for six months even if he can't actually play. We could always bung them a few grand for their helpfulness Well that contradicts your previous reply.

The worry is mutch going to use this rule in his favour again, next year and other deadwood. Instead of playing, does this rule favour them rather than the club itself. If we sign 2 older players in January, what are our options, if everything else stays the same? Could we include those 2 and give Mutch a job in the kitchen?

I saw a report in the mirror on deadline day that freedman was tasked out trying to ship out 6 players on deadline day. I think he managed to get rid of Anderson, Williams, boateng.
