What did I say on a different thread. 95% sure if FDB goes, hodgson will be Palace boss.

You crack on playing Football Manager and let everyone know what happens when the time comes 👍

What's that then?

Never heard of it.

Numerous reports that FDB has 1 game to save his job, whether you want him to succeed or not. His on borrowed time or are you an ostrich, do you have your head in the sand.

Haven't Big Sam and Warnock also both cited us as being their 'one final job' in recent years? Are we the club that old managers go to die?

Same mistake they keep making in the Vatican. Those popes only last five minutes.

OTOH a manager who had a hotline to God might come in dead handy.

.....and don't forget Mourinho - he once said that he would like to manage us before he finishes his career too.

I know you're probably joking but it amazes me how often that comes up.

Mourinho, when managing abroad, was asked about London and he said he loves the city so much he would manage Crystal Palace if it meant he could come back (Palace being the sh*test London club he could think of). Somehow a number of our fans not only took this as a compliment but seem to actually believe the he would like to manage us one day.

Could we not offer Dyche the job as a longer term option?

It would be madness to sign a 70 year old to take on such a high pressure job. We would probably kill him. Or he would turn up at Fulham's ground by mistake.

Give him the rest of the season and we would all be turning up there.
