Going behind and singing louder, whether that be under Holloway or Pulis, seems longer ago than it actually was.

I'd like to know if those that boo, how long they've been supporting regularly and what their plans will be if we get relegated.

Since I moved back from Bristol, all of that lot got our Support, even louder when we went behind (not so much with Sam tho). It's what I loved most about our team in my years of having a Season Ticket. Honest and pragmatic support for an honest set of players.

Now all we get are the inevitable moans and jeers at matches and relentless threads created by New HOL members such as Dan89. Statements like "you should point your anger to the board members and chairman" is exactly the entitlement people talk about. It's divisive and brings nothing positive. Maybe it's indicative of football supporters these days, or even society as a whole, but I don't like it, and it shows a total lack of class.

It's actually sickening to see and hear these 'fans' (not supporters) constantly moan, gripe, accuse, and bay for blood after 3 games, chipping away at what took us ages to build up as supporters. I find myself getting more angry at the booing fans than the team and it's off putting and makes match-day less enjoyable for supporters, what do they think it does to the players?!

I'm not sure about all of them. Peter Taylor for a start. Can't remember it being louder when a goal down. I can remember lots leaving when 2-0 down.

The big noticeable rise in volume has been in the first season in the Prem. A big rise in volume. Completely different to the championship. I think after admin there was a concerted effort to support more and more and now if we go a goal down all there is is the thud of the drum and some new song nobody likes or knows.

To be honest I think he is more preoccupied with the feelings of the squad, upstairs at Selhurst and 'respected' footie journos than booing or Holmesdale Online hot air.

We know the answer to that already. They won't be at Selhurst, that's for sure. They won't be on here moaning and feeling entitled either. Reminds me of the Challton fans the season they went down.

The fact of the matter is that apart from those inside the club, nobody and certainly not you, actually know whether FDB played a role in either of those things or not.

Said it a few times, seen a side to Palace fans this season that is ugly. I wanted Pardew gone as much as the next guy but that affair had gone on for a little too long - those hounding de Boer out of the door really struggle with the meaning of "support" and the majority of them had the seed of toxic negativity before he even had his first training session, they'll deny it but this is the start that many of them wanted to see. Big difference between having an opinion, a style of football you like etc. And actually undermining the team you claim to support in their second home game at Selhurst.

Best fans in England? Do me a favour.

This may well be true. I do remember the whole team standing on one side of the pitch at Goalkicks and some really dire football, with the smallest snippet of amazing football thrown in for about 2 minutes every month. I distinctly remember one passage of play where we had about 5 passes running at goal, little flicks and all sorts. I thought 'this is the turning point', but as swiftly as it arrived, like Keyser Soze, it was gone again.

He did an amazing Norman Wisdom impression apparently. Not that I ever saw it or thought it as relevant to anything..ever.

When FDB sets the team up to win a game he'll probably earn some respect. However, from what I've witnessed so far he doesn't seem to have a clue and shows his inexperience at this level.

Get real we're all supporters but who is going to be cheering and singing their hearts out when we're getting stuffed all the time?

We've just gone through a terrible spell under Pardew, survived under Allardyce's stewardship and now we have this guy learning the business the hard way at our expense.

Get rid before we find ourselves deeper in the $hite.

It does seem that plenty of people are actively hoping he fails because they've already taken against him and want to be vindicated.

I don't think FDB is the right fit for us, but my hope is that he'll go back to a sensible back 4, playing solid counter-attacking football, and we'll have a perfectly unremarkable season.

So you honestly think that Frank de Boer sets a team up purposely to lose? Are you that blinded by hatred?
