Yeah, Pardewesque in repeating the same things with no actual answers:

Today was a hard lesson
We want to be winning games
We lost the game in 3mins
We have to not make mistakes

Might not be bang on but it literally sounded like a montage.

I hope the talks are "Sorry Frank but this is quite obscene, travel safe"

Don't think we were ever gonna sign anyone, looks far more likely we won't now!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

A good business man recognises a mistake quickly and corrects it - cutting losses quickly is a must. SP has to do this and do it now. You hear so called experts say that De Boer has to be given money for the right players for his system to work but we won't be able to do that.To play his system you have to spend really big and we haven't got that sort of clout. We spent a lot for Allardyce and he assembled a good team but no way can we afford to dismantle that team and buy another one at this stage and in such a short time. SP authorised Pardew to play more attacking football which failed and now it has happened again. We have to play to our strengths and De Boer is not the man for that job - he looks out of his depth. Players who looked great under Sam now look rubbish. De Boer needs to go now with Sammy Lee and Dougie made caretakers. Let s forget about sexy football and get back to basics.

How long did it take Sam to get a run of results and have the team following his instructions? 7, maybe 8 games?
Let's see who we get in by Thursday before getting knickers twisted.

I have bitten my tongue until now but the last few (and reasoned) responses say it all for me. "Total football, the Dutch way, Ajax, Joop Joop Holland" means nothing. What have The Netherlands ever won (other than a 4-1 spanking at Wembley). 1974 best side in the World Cup but bottled it, 1978 best side but done by a fix and a Junta. Since then...........anything?..........
I went to a football college in Ijmuiden as a kid, played on pitches the like I had never seen before, was tought by Ajax coaches to play full back, sweeper and midfield, was in awe, and went on to win.......nothing. Got beaten up by big lads when I got home.
The game has moved on, that 1974 team was special but the rest of the world copied, adapted and then overtook it. Let's not look to Holland as a great example or her coaches (it really is like the Scottish league there now), let's be English, proud if it and get the ball to the wingers early, who can then cross early to a strong centre forward.
That has always been football, total or otherwise

Short memories from some. Eight games before it got t going and then rubbish at the end. Was nervy and we got through on other's failures.

Don't blame the manager. Look at the incompetent idiot who employed him. Parish has lined his own pocket but makes out he is an ordinary fan at heart. Let's have genuine owners with ambition or championship football with Parish.

Yes, our manager blamed the players' lack of courage for the defeat. Not quite sure what that means but obviously it wasn't his fault but the players, of course. Those sort of remarks will not enamour him to the dressing room. Look forward to more confusion?

The chairman who is a multi multi millionaire lining his own pocket by leaving transfers till the last minute?

I'm not happy our season starts after 3 matches but I you what, instead of throwing bullsh1t around, get your facts right. Parish has only drawn a salary in the last financial reports of about £400k. He hasn't had building partners build the Whitehorse or have the training at a golf course he owns and flog club on without assets.

Think you are wrong regarding Parish lining his own pockets unless you have access to his bank accounts.Bit of a slanderous statement and totally uncalled for,you have a short memory without him and the others we wouldn't have a club to support.
Have to say that his choice of Managers leaves a lot to be desired but that has nothing to do about money.

SP I really believe is struggling at present and he may well be out of his depth now. IMO his choice of managers has been poor except Pulis & Big Sam. Just look at Stoke, Watford, Bournemouth to name but a few who are far more stable than we are. Don't get me wrong I will always be a true Palace fan and that will never change. I also think to bring Dougie back is wrong, perhaps SP runs the club on far too much sentiment.
