Yeah, we've 'lost our identity' after 3 games.

Tell me 4 players that look comfortable in this formation.

I agree, we should have gone for Dyche although hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Such a shame it took SP some 6 weeks to finally appoint a replacement.

That's because Pellegrino and Frank wanted tge Southampton job.

Parish didn't show any effort, haste or interest in Silva and now Dyche is still at Burnley there's been leaks that Dyche didn't want the Palace job, but when he was supposedly in tge frame it was rumoured Dyche was interested.

Southampton's choice meant Parish chose the wrong man, although he could've gone for Dyche during Southampton's stalling or Silva 6 weeks earlier.

All very obvious and poor. Wind the clock back with Sam and then throw the click up at the wall and hope it lands on the hook on the wall, with a load of bullsh1t from Frank about our players suiting 3-4-3, then include 3 players into it and you're still short by 3+. My bullsh1t detector still works. Worked on Pardew and still does.

Players uncomfortable in it or any team situation make others who are up to it look poor at this level.

The formation doesn't work. But you're acting as if Parish has somehow pissed away everything that's good about this club, when FDB could simply switch to a back 4 after the break, just like he did in the 2nd half today?

One person to blame for the position we are in and thats Steve Parish, He appointed Frank knowing the type of football he advocates, And has failed to back him in the transfer market, It is in no way the Managers fault.

As I have said before we are in the best league in the world and in my opinion Parish don't cut it at this level. Its been the same story each year, He now needs to either spend big time to bring players in to play the type of football we are experimenting with, Or bring a Manager in that can finish the job that Sam started last season. Parish is pathetic, I read a few weeks ago somewhere he was spouting off about our Dutch revolution continues. What a joke No wonder he has gone quiet as he always does when things are not going well. Today was painful to watch. something needs to be done now

Clearly missed the point. The players are not good enough to play a possession game , wether it's 433 or 4141. We got arguably the best target man in the league and he's ineffective. Frank never played effective football, for me we escaped last season after pardew balls up. Why put the club at risk it's not just the system change it's the philosophy that de Boer wants. Surely wasn't a suprise to parish that he would play possession football. Doesn't learn from his mistakes. There lies the blame for me. Forget that he saved the in 2010. Judge him now.

Parish is naïve. Months to get rid of Pardew. Minimal investment for this season. Weeks to appoint a new manager. Club is once again a laughing stock. 5 days left in transfer window with no sign of new players coming in. Appoints an ex manager who walked out on the club as new 'Sporting Director'
Anything else we can look forward too Mr Parish?

I'd go further and look at Ollies adventure in the PL. Our first 3 performances seem to mirror those early games when we had 13 or so new players. heroic failures against big sides like Spurs, Swansea doing a job at home on us. We seem to have slipped back to there at the mo. One reason given was we were new to the league, adapting etc. this cannot be levelled this season and we have far better squad on paper than then, altho maybe not the likes of passion, graft etc. judging by today. Looking at FdB think he will have 8-10 games like Ollie. We had 3 points from 8 games and I can see that happening this season with Citeh, ManUre and Chelski to come. I'd be surprised though if FdB falls on his sword like Ollie. Parish will have to wield the axe and he doesn't have a great record of doing this early, a la Pards.

Why are people even talking about Dyche? Maybe he never wanted to come here?
