Neither did Mourinho, Conte, Klopp, Koeman or just about any other overseas manager when they arrived. All seem to have stamped their style of play on their respective sides- some taking longer than others. How many of those are idiots? How anyone can call someone with FdB's experience and achievements in the game an 'idiot' in football terms is beyond me.

We played okay, which is a massive improvement on last week. Most importantly, we played in a disciplined way, weren't afraid to go long rather than muck about at the back, and the players didn't look clueless, which is positive.

I'm not complaining we are only 6 points of the top of the table.

Very disciplined in our approach to this match throughout the game today. I thought although under pressure a lot of the time, no one panicked and unlike last week every player seemed to know his role. Maybe the players are more comfortable playing away from home at the moment? I am sure they prefer not to try and boss the possession stats! If only Tekkers had put that golden chance away Today!

Come on guys - get real That may well have been the worst Liverpool starting lineup in 50+ years especially with Sturridge not match-fit , Firmino playing out of position and Robertson making his debut If we can't beat Swansea next week we are definitely in it. Brighton look worse but that's about it. West Ham will be fine once they twig that Guardiola got it right about Hart

West Ham will be fine once they twig that Guardiola got it right about Hart You are right that Liverpool were firing on 2 or 3 at most of 4 cylinders but it gave us a chance to improve from the woeful start and p1ss poor preparation. At least that has started progression, or we'd be in trouble now before Swansea. But we were bad at the end. Lacking legs and stamina. What is now becoming a bit unknown is how our new approach affects games. I was surprised how kind Liverpool were to our back line compared to Huddersfield. Maybe Liverpool knew they'd get their chances so just stayed patient. I don't know how Swansea will play that. What I liked was how I saw players knew where their next man was. Say if ball goes from left to centre, man knows to play it behind man on the outside out to the wing and into the space where our player will run into. For anyone that played 3-5-2 years ago, that was very effective. For that to work well you need a pacey RWB. It's what Huddersfield did. Ping it to left back, get a shot on goal 2 minutes in. oh boy , such a sad state of affairs when so called " fans" would rather support a novice such as FDB than a seasoned pro such as Allardyce

As for the rest of it, if FdB had gone to pieces then why would Klopp react to our subs & change in formation to see the game out? By my reckoning, we had plans a, b & c today which, for the most part, frustrated the bin-dippers. Something folk were screaming for a year ago.
