Progressive activists? Mainstream media? You spend far too much time on far-right websites. We can play "spot the right wing cliche" on your posts. Give it a rest! You actually are claiming that 'nothing to see here'? Progressive activists and mainstream media are cliches? What fantasies are they? I mean I link to the story itself, showing the 'progressive' spin, featuring multiple progressives moaning online at the company...the company apologising and talking about a 'gender neutral' policy. And you have your 'nothing to see here'....yeah you give it a rest...You probably just aren't interested because you are a 'progressive/regressive' yourself.

As an aside. Why do the likes of Stirling use words like Elite and progressive - which are both good things, as a pejorative.

Adding the Babe makes it dodgy and how you can't see that is rather odd. And how is your fighting prowess you 19stone hulk of muscle you? Yeah, yeah, yeah - i know you like boxing but a sloth could k.o. an old fella that size. Was that you in Marseilles last year v the Russians? Edited by Kermit8 (13 Aug 2017 9.05pm) You thinking in terms of sexuality over shoes is what is odd? These were your insinuations. I just wanted to talk about what the article concerned, which wasn't sexual but about bullying over gender stereotypes. Again, parents or close relatives buy these shoes, there is zero wrong with either of those words and it's pretty disappointing, in my view, for you to think in those terms. As for how powerful I am....sure, 48, fat old man eh?....let's have a meet up, we can arrange it and we can see. How much would you like on an arm's wrestle? Let's go for £100 quid? Winner takes all, draw walks away even. I'll be down in London in November. We could do it.

The shoes aren't dodgy, the words individually out of this context aren't dodgy, especially the latter as a term of affection as you say (or a remark on how hot a woman is) - but linguistically, of course, when those words are lumped together it changes their intent and meaning and they become phrasal. I doubt the marketing guru behind made an innocent error and if you are looking at the originator of any sexualisation they are your people. I'll only do the London meet if we can play pooh-sticks as well. I live in Devon FFS Edited by Kermit8 (13 Aug 2017 9.50pm)

My money is on you Stirling. Kermy is all mouth. I could challenge you both but modesty prevents me from suggesting what the result would be.

I'm going to be down in London on the 25th of November.....If you can't make that....and living in Devon that's fair enough. But let me assure you I think you'd have to be pretty powerful to beat me strength wise so if you'd ever up for arranging something we could do it.
