Neither have you, just the same old record blaming Hennessey for every goal conceded.

If you really knew anything about goalkeeping you wouldn't keep making those ridiculous comments.

At least there quite a lot of posters here today who could see that Hennessy was not at fault for any goals today.

Not today, but he will be, and to have a keeper expected to play with the ball at his feet when he clearly can't is going to prevent the new system working from his end of the field. Big problem their my friend.

So are you saying he was at fault for the goals. Don't get me wrong I know we need a new keeper but don't blame him for every goal we concede. First goal blame Ward. Second goal blame Riedewald. And third goal Tompkins (although he had just come on) we simply don't have the players to play that system. Puncheon and Ward need dropping and Loftus cheek was superb today on and off the ball.

He certainly didn't stop them. Their goalie did. Simple.

Which ones do you think he should have stopped ?
Based on Speroni v Schalke do you think he would have stopped them ?

Riedwald was poor for the first two the game was then lost, The third we just changed a defender and was caught cold.
We lost today because of FdB formation and tactics.

Lets hope he does better son.

Hennessey doesn't instil any confidence whatsoever he looks lost at times, maybe it is because of the defenders around him. I recall the Chelsea game last year where he saved everything but then again Sakho was there doing the same thing and saving Hennessey. As for Punch his corner and set kicks are woeful he was caught out on many occasions and has lost his ability to score, time to move on or bring him off the bench only. If he wasn't captain would he be playing?

The system will only work if you have players who make themselves available to throw/roll the ball out to. We don't have those types of players. Our players aren't confident with the ball so, when pressurised, misplace a pass, kick it up the field or give it back to WH to kick up field.

WH was not at fault for any of the goals today.

Beaten at his near post for the third. Stood flat footed for the others. They weren't unstoppable. Huddersfield's goalie did a good job with some similar shots when we got on target.
Would have been another goal as well if it wasn't for Dann saving him because he is too frightened to come out and challenge an attacker. Just stays rooted to the spot and watches the ball fly past him

If Palace are concerned with buying a goalkeeper who's good with his feet then we're heading down the wrong path completely. As another poster pointed out we need one who pulls out big saves.

Most of the outfield players aren't good enough to play with the ball in their own third and some of the backpasses to Hennessey yesterday were abysmal.

That's exactly what we need. A keeper that can keep us in a game.

We certainly need a change in goal that's for sure.
There is NO excuse for letting THREE goals in today but the Wayne fans will think of something I am sure to get him off the hook as they always do.

What i would say is that Hennesseys confidence looks shot..he only needed to watch how their keeper came to claim balls.in the air to see what he needs to do.

Could and should have done much better on 1st and 3rd goals!! Doesnt command area doesnt inspire any confidence in defenders.....look at Huddersfields keeper to see how it should be done....Hennessey needs replacing URGENTLY!!

I really thought he was between the sticks to stop the ball but I must be wrong as people like you cannot see that Wayne is the week link and that is why frank is now looking for a new goalkeeper a Dutch one in fact!
