Neither have you, just the same old record blaming Hennessey for every goal conceded. If you really knew anything about goalkeeping you wouldn't keep making those ridiculous comments. At least there quite a lot of posters here today who could see that Hennessy was not at fault for any goals today. Not today, but he will be, and to have a keeper expected to play with the ball at his feet when he clearly can't is going to prevent the new system working from his end of the field. Big problem their my friend.

So are you saying he was at fault for the goals. Don't get me wrong I know we need a new keeper but don't blame him for every goal we concede. First goal blame Ward. Second goal blame Riedewald. And third goal Tompkins (although he had just come on) we simply don't have the players to play that system. Puncheon and Ward need dropping and Loftus cheek was superb today on and off the ball. He certainly didn't stop them. Their goalie did. Simple.

Hennessey doesn't instil any confidence whatsoever he looks lost at times, maybe it is because of the defenders around him. I recall the Chelsea game last year where he saved everything but then again Sakho was there doing the same thing and saving Hennessey. As for Punch his corner and set kicks are woeful he was caught out on many occasions and has lost his ability to score, time to move on or bring him off the bench only. If he wasn't captain would he be playing?

The system will only work if you have players who make themselves available to throw/roll the ball out to. We don't have those types of players. Our players aren't confident with the ball so, when pressurised, misplace a pass, kick it up the field or give it back to WH to kick up field. WH was not at fault for any of the goals today. Beaten at his near post for the third. Stood flat footed for the others. They weren't unstoppable. Huddersfield's goalie did a good job with some similar shots when we got on target. If Palace are concerned with buying a goalkeeper who's good with his feet then we're heading down the wrong path completely. As another poster pointed out we need one who pulls out big saves. Most of the outfield players aren't good enough to play with the ball in their own third and some of the backpasses to Hennessey yesterday were abysmal.

A keeper that can keep us in a game.

We certainly need a change in goal that's for sure. What i would say is that Hennesseys confidence looks shot..he only needed to watch how their keeper came to claim balls.in the air to see what he needs to do.

I really thought he was between the sticks to stop the ball but I must be wrong as people like you cannot see that Wayne is the week link and that is why frank is now looking for a new goalkeeper a Dutch one in fact!
