Ok, I'll explain my piss-take. Whenever there is discussion about any immigrant 'community', the left come out with "the NHS would collapse without them", it's a stock left response, the idea being that you can justify anything if you say it supports the NHS. So if you were familiar with my postings, I tend to say 'the NHS would collapse without them' when referring to practically anyone - immigrants, non-immigrants, animals, inanimate objects, absolutely anything really. I get the joke and understand that people trot out how we 'need foreign workers in the NHS' and the like. I just thought it was a reach attaching it to a story of this nature. Still, I get that both sides do this and I wasn't aware that it was a running joke of sorts with you, so no worries. Thanks for the reply!

As sad as the story is, on the plus side if Brendan O'Carroll suddenly dies, we now have 7 or 8 Mrs Brown look-a-likes able to take up the mantle.

Back to the subject. I always thought anyone from or living in Lincolnshire was well dodgy. It started with the grocer's daughter. This just cements things.

As you seem concerned about modern day slavery (as everyone should be), the 'estimated proportion of population in modern slavery by country' chart on this page may interest you. Makes one realise how far the West has come, morality wise, over the last couple of centuries, and how other areas of the world need to do the same.
