It's completely false. It has originated from the Daily Star, who are about as credible as Rolf Harris trying to blag his way into primary school teaching. The only other news outlet (including generic websites) to report it, is the Sun, who directly copied the Daily Star's article. Nothing happening here, let's all move on.

The timing of this just makes it bulls*** , no way 2010 would jeopardise 7 years of hard work, blood sweat and tears and sell out to a bunch of unknown European investors 5 days before start of the season.
