Hi mate thanks,

I'm getting coach to the ground so should be fine cheers pal,

Just quite concerned I'm gonna travel for 5 hours, spend nearly 100 wood and not be able to see any of the game!

Okay, mate, nice one.

Judging by the seating plan for the rest of the stand, the pillars are around row 11/12, so you should be fine, you'll just have to duck your head around now and again.

Enjoy the game, hopefully both sets of fans and teams will be up for a lovely opener.

Cheers for your help pal, do you know where I can find the seating plan?

Go to the white tabs at the top of the page > under 'more' click 'where do you sit' this will give you the basic seating plan, but won't show you where the pillars are.

Row 29 is fine. RV here just means that the pillar will be between you and the goal - albeit the pillar is approx. 50 yards away from you... . if that makes sense.

I'm in row 34 in this stand and sometimes buy extra seats next to us that are RV, they're perfectly ok.

Enjoy the game, but not too much.
Cheers
Ted

It means you won't be able to see part of one of the goals due to a pillar.

It would be a shame for you if you miss Huddersfield's first goal in the premiership, so for your sake I hope it doesn't happen this week .

Enjoy the game.

[Link] If you look at pictures 1 and 3 in sequence of The Arthur Waite stand, to the far left of the stand you'll see two stanchions where the red seats are,one is near the edge of the seating and the other is right in the middle of the block. Good luck for the season after Saturday and hope we get to see Sean Scannell play as he is a Hillsborough Hero and will get a positive welcome from us at Palace! Ollie's Dad,Ash.

Do you really want a good view of all those Palace goals flying in to your net.

Why would you WANT to see your team get spanked all game? I'm sure by the end of it you'll be grateful you couldn't see it, if you haven't left by half time that is.

EAGLES! EAGLES!

My tip is to bring sunglasses as, if the sun is shining, you will be looking into it.

The restricted view from row 29 wont be too bad, you will have a pillar in the way as you look to your left.

Good luck for the season after our match. If you could take 6 point off Brighton it would be nice.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
