I only found this page in the first place because I was hunting for Palace podcasts.

I'm not saying this because I'm here, but the FYP one isn't a patch on HOL Radio. Yeah so it might be better quality, people finish their sentences, there's less swearing and the jingles are better, but actually that's what I like. A load of amateur waffle about Palace with swearing and giggling.

That's doing it down, I genuinely do love the HOL Radio show.

They used to read my inane Tweets out a load when I had Twitter as well.

We had our preseason meeting Sunday. Which Gusset obviously didn't attend! We needed a summer break but raring to go now.

We've got a few plans in place, but mainly we want a. It more interaction with people this year.

Facebook and twitter are the easiest ways to get in touch but maybe we'll have an "email of the week" or something as well.

As ever, always up for suggestions of things people want/love/hate/are confused by.

I don't personally think anything has to change, unless you think you are losing listeners. Out of interest, do you get any stats on listenership or is that hard to obtain due to the varying ways in which to listen?

We get full stats on both podcast and live show. Many thousands listen every single week and for that we're grateful and all the while that is the case, we'll continue to push to better what we do.

We'll be back week Sunday from 8pm with a season preview and, as earlier alluded to, an interview with Hy Money.

ha ha don't worry I'll happily listen to them both. Can't say I'm a fan of the 3rd pod out there, that is very dull in my humble opinion

Holmesdale is still going. Palace Radio I believe was an issue with frequency

I used to like listening to Nigel Wearing on Palace Radio its a shame its not on now.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

I don't listen because of the bad language and I doubt whether I'm the only one.

I swear as much as the next man where appropriate but HOL Radio has set it's stall out as a non family friendly broadcast and if I can't listen with my kids then I won't listen at all

Fair comments. We do make a conscious effort to keep it to a minimum but it'll never be completely not there so it's probably best you don't listen. We are just talking as if we're four people down the pub discussing the game.

That's a shame. All presenters are asked not to swear but it happens sporadically. Live we can't do much but it's generally beeped in the pod. I would say the number of shows with swearing last year would be 5 at most out of 50 odd.

For the record we reason that most people who listen will be familiar with a football stadium and the discussions that happen with fans in general. Providing we ensure that we create an honest conversation that is cleaner than that I think people on the whole are understanding.

We certainly don't promote bad language. The early days were sketchy but we have standards now!

I get your point for sure, but I'm interested to know if you take the family to selhurst park. If so they would surely hear a lot worse right?
