If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

I agree you COULD see some big name departure the likes of mcarthur, dann, Cabaye, and ward could depart. We transitioning into a team where the players are comfortable on the ball and suit high pressing.

If the right money comes in then it may make sense. Reinvest in the right players for the managers plans rather than trying to fit good quality round pegs in square holes. It's a big trasnition but one I hope we embrace and fully back the manager on. I can envisage at least one or two youth players breaking through to be proper squad players and recon Obi-wan is almost a certainty for many match day squads. Understand how some fans are fearful of the upheaval and the unknown that brings. But personally I think if we're gonna do it. Which we are. Then best out come is full force and backing. If that means Cabaye and JimmyMac leave and we get a £25m plus windfall then maybe it's worth it... if reinvested

Cabaye is br far and away our best midfield passer and we really miss him when he is injured ,be a huge mistake to let him go

Yes, unless he really wants to go back to France then we'd certainly should want to keep him.

Would love to keep Cabaye but in this formation you don't just need passing ability but be able to press to win the ball back.

he is also a good tackler ,allthough a bit cynical at times, he would take £20-25m to replace

YC's 31 and may go free next year. Might be good business to make some cash and replace him? Don't want the 'yawning big hole' though granted.

Letting him move this late in the window would leave a yawning hole in our midfield, unless a like for like replacement is already lined up. Given the glacial pace of Palace transfer dealings so far this Summer, I doubt that's happened. Makes sense to let Cabaye go in terms of his age, but he really is quality. Maybe FdB has spotted a Palace youngster who could come in? Obviously he knows the dutch market very well so may well know of younger talented players..
