We haven't got a single Ajax or ex player yet. Riederwald will be the first. Don't believe all the Papers linking us to everyone with a Dutch grandparent.

Hope it's true. Two quality players well worth their place in the squad.

Just read the Croydon Advertiser article explaining that both players were absent from the Hong Kong Team photo shoot because they were left at home to recover from injuries - not because they are on the verge of signing for another Club. The article also had a clip of the players getting off the Team Bus and it was amazing to see how many managerial and back room staff vacated the bus first. Sam Lee gave a cheery wave and smile while Yohan appeared to be the only one signing autographs for the assembled fans. Looks like it will be a great opportunity for Palace to gain a wider presence over there. Good to hear, I think both Jimmy Mac and Chungy could have a part to play (especially if injuries strike) as the season unfolds and we should keep hold of them for the foreseeable.
The trouble with computers, of course, is that they're very sophisticated idiots |

Chungy isn't going to get in the team ahead of Townsend, Zaha and Puncheon. He'll struggle to even get a midfield nod over Schlup and Van Arnholt. I can't see him getting on the bench except for injuries. MacArthur, is another matter, as he's quite a resourceful midfielder (capable of defensive duties). But even then he's only going to make the bench. I wouldn't be surprised if they left, if reasonable offers came in for them.

Agreed different player as Captain, needs to get forward more though and weigh in with a few more assists and goals, but worried that if you stop wingers, you stop palace.

Funny how times changed. Before mac git injured last seadon, he was probably pushing wilf as our most consistently good player. Then he came back before he was fully fit and played poorly at the end of the season. Now he's not good enough and we want to get rid...he and dann, who a lot of people seem to be writing off too, are two who could be big players for us next season.

I think its a smokescreen, there has been some transfer enquiries and they have been allowed to stay behind. Burnley are now sniffing round Macca and if the reported price is right 2m which is ridiculous, it must be a release clause it will be right up their street

Short memories on Jimmy. But with Dann his form dropped without injuries of his own. You could claim Jimmy being injured from Jan 2016 onwards and then Pardew selling Jedi and effectively being a man and leader down didn't help. He's on a lot of money.

I note a smart piece of business by the Spammers revealed on BBC sport news page tonite. Close to signing Arnautovic from Stoke for a fee of around £24m. 35 appearances in 16/17 with 7 goals for his troubles. Yet Jimmy Mac scored 7 in 29 appearances from midfield and is only valued at around £2m. The agent for Arnautovic must be licking his lips? Really hope Jimmy Mac is offered a new deal....
