Johnson aswell, i cannot and will not ever slate him, only signed to build his fitness up really

The signing wasn't great but doesn't mean the player isn't/wasn't. I thought the decision to sign him might have led to coaching or something but in the end I'm really not sure whether it was worth it...albeit a very cheap folly I'm sure.

Well there we go. There's always one ill informed prat that wades in with a dumb comment. I stand corrected and shall get my coat!

Would say putting Remy there is a bit harsh, his time was limited by injuries but when he did play, he wasn't too bad, even though I'm pretty sure he never played more than about 60 minutes in any game. Wouldn't really say he was a poor player for us, just an unlucky one

Oh yeah McCarthy! Forgot him. Stephen Dobbie?

Dobbie was decent in the Championship, we had terms with Brighton where we had to sign him the season after. As a PL signing he was poor but I count him as one we still made while in the Championship.

Were you a fan during the pulis season? Our first in the prem? Mariappa was solid!! What you on about??

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

After watching the Palace for nigh on fifty years I can unequivocally say that IMO Jordan Mutch is by a country mile the worst ever piece of business that Crystal Palace have ever conducted.Sure over the years we've bought some really awful players. But even the worst of them put in some kind of effort, or at least pretended to.But Mutch didn't even feign any kind of dedication to his profession.
But he's somehow made a very good living out of football, and is probably a millionaire,so good luck to him.

Surprised no mentions yet for the first and second worst strikers I've ever seen play for Palace, who are (in reverse order) Akinbyi and - obviously - Bumfluff.

Agree. If some people can forgive the judas jock c**t that is freedman as a manager because he was a sensible player. Andy (21 premier league goals In a relegation season. Which I doubt will ever be bettered) should be remembered as the best striker since Ian Wright and rightly talked about in legend status, FOR EVER.

Can't we extend the timeframe? I remember thinking ( or maybe speaking to a 'contact') that Per Bartram never really cut the mustard.....

Certainly, for the next one i could go all time? Agreed about mariappa, really liked him, great for cover, prefer him to kelly. Mutch is just robbing us to be honest!
