Has he got a bald patch or has he done a Mark Clattenburg in closed season?

Isn't he a bit past it?

On Jordan Mutch: 'The Eagles midfielder doesn’t have a lot going for him these days. He is not liked by Palace fans; he spent most of last season out on loan and he is losing his hair at 25.'

Apart from the "not liked by Palace fans" bit he could well be describing Jonny Williams

the #U-23's look to have a fair bit of promise. Let's hope they continue to develop well

I understand arrangements were changed at the 11th hour but I consider the fixture to be a total let down for Maidstone United, both sets of fans who turned up and a wasted marketing opportunity for Crystal Palace FC. It didn't go down too well so I doubt there will ever be a welcome back or affection shown to CPFC in this part of the Weald. Particularly, annoying as the event didn't upstage Brighton's contribution under Gus Poyet five years ago.
Having not lived up to expectations ... our kids put on a decent show and Mutch played well.

Let down? We set the record attendance the ground has ever had with a youth team friendly. Annoying because we paid to see the senior team but still a good day out and a successful day for both parties.

I listened to the commentary (2 locals) and I got the impression from them that M UTD had come a very long way since their Brighton friendly. It was a competitive match. Which is a good match.
