Not another nonsensical response... I'm going to scream if I get one more. Yes I am... We are close to signing someone not signed. That doesn't mean we should be frustrated that we haven't bought anyone yet though does it. I would expect with our tour FDB is assessing the squad nicely now but before that why should we be frustrated at signing no one??? Do you actually read the responses that you are answering as it is your answer that is nonsense. You claimed "What a stupid thing to say. FDB stated clearly he wanted to assess the whole squad before making any signings" to which I responded that SP must be included in your diatribe as he had clearly stated that we were close to signing someone before FDB had a chance to assess the squad. If you read a bit further back you will see that I am not frustrated at all and have already suggested that we could start the season with the same team that beat Liverpool. Try reading the posts properly in future please

Does anyone actually apply logic before speaking. What a stupid thing to say. FDB stated clearly he wanted to assess the whole squad before making any signings. Therefore I would be thoroughly disappointed if he suddenly went back on that and started signing players. Imagine the squad morale if he did. Please think before you speak Because as I've quite clearly stated SP told us that our first signing was imminent it transpires it wasn't. That's what is frustrating plus being continuously linked with players and nothing coming from it. That is what is frustrating. Read posts properly digest what has been written before replying.

Each day that passes means we are a day closer to signing someone.

Probably going to get some clog for this, but I'm getting pretty frustrated with the lack of any signings. I think every other club in the Prem. has made at least one signing. We left it late last year and previous seasons and always seem to be firefighting in the January window (and to be fair getting it right then) but I would like for this season to do our business in the Summer and not have to worry in January. Anyhow, I've made my point and feel better about it. Well as Willo posted on one of Willis threads the other day it is us and Spurs who have not signed anybody yet. In January we purchased 3 more players. As mentioned above Frankie boy said he would assess the squad before purchasing. Finally our club are the 6th biggest spenders in the Premiership in 2017. Patience lads.

Amazes me how people still don't get the way SP does his business - not to mention that we've only just got a new manager, who needs time to assess what he has already got, which he stated in his PC. Did you not watch it? Parish is methodical, thoughtful and takes his time in making any deal for CPFC and does his best to make sure that none of it surfaces into the football rumours bollocks that so many bored people seem to believe. Get a life, enjoy the break and trust Parish to look after what is best for the club like he has always done. The rubbish spouted on here and twitter etc seems to happen every year, it's so boring!

These threads appear every transfer window. Judge our window when it is over. A lot of teams haven't done a lot either. Chill!

What I don't understand, if you feel it's rubbish or boring and it happens every year as you stated. Maybe your the one, who should enjoy a holiday. Rather than looking through twitter and hol. Lol

Lol Because it amuses me at how nonsensical football supporters can be when there is no football to watch. The outlook when there is apparently 'nothing going on' is very much doom and gloom as if the whole club has just gone on holiday on a sun lounger somewhere watching other clubs buy players. And then a twitter rumour surfaces there we're after a player and then he goes somewhere else and all of a sudden we're rubbish when the strong possibility is that we were never in for him in the first place! Some clubs just do not care how much money they are spending and are quite happy for players from all over the world rip them off. Palace don't do that and never have in this era. The transfer window isn't open for one day , it's open for 2 months - 2 months in which to get the best possible deal for the club. That is not an easy thing to do. Think Parish has earned our trust and respect. Can't remember disappointed in any window once it SLAMS SHUT! When we do sign someone, I'm always safe in the knowledge now that he's here because he wants to play for CPFC, not here for how much money he can squeeze out of us - Parish is very thorough when it comes to spending the clubs money as he should be. We will get some signings over the line. If you are frustrated at the slow pace of getting things done then unfortunately I see trouble ahead for you my friend. "Dithering Steve" will not change the way he rolls at this stage, expect long, drawn out managerial searches and painstaking transfer negotiations while MC Parish is in charge. I find it ironic that Sakho has now apparently agreed personal terms, as we are nowhere near agreeing a fee! Dithering Steve likes to take his sweet time over things and sadly that means other teams who dont have dithering chairmen might steal a march on us from time to time - such as the Tete situation. Shame as we really need to sack off Joel Ward. What I sincerely hope (reading between the lines this seems to have happened at least twice) is that dithering Steve doesnt start to annoy Frankie boy when it comes to transfers, who then resigns/retires totally out of the blue, like Allardyce did.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Well said, we have missed out already and in the end we will play over the odds for the sick lame and lazy as they will be the only ones left!
