Disagree PF, refs wear green these days sometimes yellow. Can recall the first time we were promoted and we bought out a Black away kit but were unable to wear it as it clashed with refs. I like both the home and away kit but would never buy either as i dont play football and fat blokes in football shirts look like tossers. The club shop is not gonna be happy with you .

The away kit is crap, black is for refs and I'd never buy a top that's black for casual wear. Personally I quite like the away kit. I am not saying that I am in the know but I have heard that now we have gone for that colour we will never go back.

I guess they go for something very different to the previous seasons for sales revenue.

Love the black kit, just need the sash back for the home kit.

Like the 2 kits but I would be genuinely embarrassed to be seen with that sponsor on it. "ManBetX". I was going to buy one for the first time in decades (to do some sport in) but now: no way.

So the supporter's consultation on the new kit was completely ignored. That sucks but wtf. Home shirt: It's predictable, and I have a wardrobe of similar ones. I'm giving them away in Argentina. I won't be buying this season's home shirt. Away shirt: Interesting, and I will compare it to other black Palace shirts. Everyone already loathes the sponsor, but just what do those [Cantonese?] letters really say.... anyone ? 2013-14 Black "evil sash" (Avec):- I might be wrong, but I think this was the only Palace shirt to sell-out before the season even started. It was an absolute killer shirt. Feels comfortable and very breathable. I was impressed. 2005-06 Black Away (Diadora): I can't knock it really. The design aint bad and it's comfortable to play footie in. The Churchill felt sponsor will come off in the wash (luckily I have two). 1993-94 Black "Polo style" 3rd (Ribero):- Looks great, but not so comfortable, especially around the neck. Ribero's idea of "Jumbo" size was a joke, as it's more like an extra large boys. So there's my take; shirts getting more comfortable and breathable over the years. Not much inspiration on designs. I await the third (yellow) shirt for the upcoming season... the one that we'll have to use in more games than the away shirt. now... BRING BACK THE SASH !!!
