Dann is still plenty good for this side. Great squad player for sure.

Like you said if someone offers 10+m for dann sell. It's time boateng given a chance as Jimmy mac back up. Get a quality number 10 and powerful defender.

I get your point but I also think he's got a couple more years in him, I think people forget just how good he was when we had a manager that could organise a back four. Plus, we don't have many decent CB's left, and with our injury luck I think we'll need some good depth. Also, I think £10m is too little for Dann. If we're going to sell him, £15m min I reckon.

The effort he put in, can never be questioned but if they offer 10+ m . We can find better then I would sell. If we want to push on. Then mcarthur needs to be sold.

This all day long. He's a good player and has done very well for us. When you look at his drop in form, you have to remember that the whole team was playing sh!te.

But 10-12 million, I'd sell. As long as we don't make the same mistake and not have anyone to replace him a la Jedi.

Good player but shocking captain. I hope Luka captain next season because it doesn't suit scotty dann.

He's average though, what's he's best position. 12m for a sub, we can use that funds elsewhere. Might even get boateng more game time.

He's average? What does that make boateng. A player that has played once or twice for us and has failed to set league one alight and isn't even championship standard. This is what I mean about us being short of cover and relying on those who are not good enough. As for his best position, he is an absolute terrier in the middle of the park and can let Lula boss the space in front of the defence and set cabaye free behind the strikers. He has an incredible engine and reads the game well and if we are playing a high press recovery of the ball style, we have no one better in the squad at pressuring players in to mistakes.

Yeah that what he done in 2016. It's time the academy product are given a pathway to the first team. In 2017 he was shocking bad. I was disappointed when we sold jedinak last summer but 12m for a jimmy mac, sub makes total sense to sell. He's not an out and out defensive mid or a attacking mid.

Which academy products though. Who is actually good enough to play for the first team at the moment. Maybe Kaikai is just about good enough to make the bench, maybe. That's about it. We all want our academy to have a pathway to the first team but they just are not good enough. If Boateng can't establish himself as a top player at Northampton Town he is hardly going to boss the midfield of the PL. MacArthur is a proven quantity and a quality squad player. We are not going to find much better to come off the bench and I highly doubt we would get anywhere close to 11 million for him.

Lesley and Flamini have gone. We can't afford to let anyone go in the middle until we have cover. It would be a direct copy paste of the mistakes of the last season when we failed to replace Jedi.

Of course we need to replace him but if we can use the funds to put towards ziyech for instance a number 10 and get m'villa for 6m. Then it's good business sense. We would of never been able to buy Benteke, if it wasn't for the sale of bolaise. Do I think boateng good enough, probably not but when I saw him play against Swansea 2 seasons ago, he looked good.
