If we go for Sakho one other player would probably use up the budget !

I guess 2 loans and 2 permanent are enough

Depends on who we actually release. If Campbell stays is a striker a priority.

Obviously it comes down to available budget and from within that the cost of individual players....then financial fair play comes in I believe.

Some fans never think enough is spent....The football wilderness is littered with indebted clubs.

Some fans never learn but I would hope that Parish and co never forget the reasons why they are actually there.

As long as neither of the loans came from Chelsea

I would of thought Sam would be a better judge of the squad requirements, than anyone on HOL.
There are probably some U23 he was looking to include in the squad.

Is that the same Sam who thought that Schlupp would make a good centre back?

I don't think you will find, he was signed as a centre back, but with only Kelly and Delaney fit against City. Delaney was never known for his pace, so Schlupp was drafted in for the game, we were always going to lose.
So what is the point you making?

Don't think Schlupp is that good even in his natural position he has pace but not much else makes snese why we wasn't getting any game time at his former club

You might as well argue that he thought Campbell would just because that's where he ended up at Anfield after that bin dipper assaulted Tomkins.

We certainly have to strengthen up front.Who on earth could we rely on to 'Deliver' if Benteke got injured ?

I think we need to bring in a minimum of 4 players across all positions to play for first team or challenge for a first team slot.

Lot of "Deadwood" but various factors come into consideration in terms of contract, wages, desire of other clubs to want them, transfer fee etc etc

Presumably the numbers mentioned by Parish don't include for replacements of players leaving. We will have Wickham back but we will need at least a replacement and upgrade if Campbell goes. Parish also mentioned Kaikai, it sounded as if he expected him to get more of a look in next season. But we need a minimum one other up front I think.

In terms of Wickham, sadly we cannot rely on him to play a succession of games due to his injury woes.

Regards the likes of Kaikai and others who have been on the 'fringe', perhaps if we are 'Comfortable' and not in any real danger of relegation some of these players could be introduced to give them PL experience and for the manager to see how they fare.
