For me it would be nice to have a stress free season, get the 40 points as soon as and enjoy the football. Like SA says lets build slowly and see what happens. Just don't want to be in volved in a relegation scrap again.

I would be ok with avoiding relegation but I can't see Zaha and other top players staying more than another season if that's gonna be our lot for the next few seasons. Much as I would miss those players it would give us a chance to implement a more sustainable wage structure which would be much better for the long term future of the club. At the moment something like 4/5 of our turnover is going on wages. Southampton and Tottenham should be our aim in terms of how we're run.

The best we can hope for, ever, given the size of our club is a finish in the top 8 and even that might prove insurmountable and might not be achieved in my lifetime.Top half finish next season, free of any real relegation fears will be really good for us.

I would love some silverware even if it was the league cup. 6 points off Brighton and out of relegation trouble as quick as possible.

Still with the negativity- I seem to remember Leicester won the league last season. I for one are not saying it's possible .

No, I said it's not possible but West Ham missed out on Europe last season. Whilst it's difficult to break in the top 6. It's not impossible and despite having numerous players on 100k a week . Just getting to 40 pts is a bare minimum. Zaha has not nearly signed a new deal to be in the bottom 6 to 8 of the table. Edited by Dan89 (21 May 2017 11.11am)

Edited by Dan89 (21 May 2017 11.11am) You say it's "Not impossible" I say it's "Wholly unrealistic".We would have to finish above the likes of Man Utd, Man C, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea. I like to think I am being realistic about our future prospects.
