Complete s***e, Selhurst match day is always quality. The atmosphere created by the fans, Kayla, the crystals, the fan zone for my little boy (before they decided to extend) there are so many little extras.
You don't just turn up and leave. WBA top lmfao.

Are you having a laugh? You must compare Lidl with Harrods too.
If you ever go in the Arthur you will see what a s***e experiance it is. Away fans will not think its quaity.
Fan Zone? that makes me laugh just like the Condements section in the Upper Holmesdale, actually has its own sign.

These articles are always a joke, since they are not written by the
people who are actually the target market.

Our target market are Palace fans (& maybe the TV audience in respect of a televised game).

As long as said Palace fans / TV audience are well entertained by our show & perceive good VFM / atmosphere, then all's good.

Should we care if an away fan has a bad experience ? Nope !

Should we care if an apathetic journalist who values padded seats has a bad experience ? Nope !

Note to said journalist - At least 50% of Selhurst Park Crowd (incl me) would rather have no seat at all thanks !!

It might have been tarted up a bit but frankly, Selhurst Park is a total s***hole. The only place with any comfort is the upper tier of the Holmesdale and the sooner we demolish it and rebuild the better.

Depends what you count as atmosphere. If you like plastic stadiums full of plastic fans with plastic flags on seats or those things you bang together then that's your bag. Selhurst has a proper atmosphere created by passionate fans.
What the f*** has my taste in supermarkets got to do with anything?
I think your point about condiments is irrelevant.

Hi Lefty, Dont have a problem and i love Selhurst too.
I am fortunate to have a ST in the Holmesdale which is a good stand compared to the Arthur. If you put into perspective the away fans experiance at Selhurst in the Arthur you will see what i am getting at.
The Arthur is a dump and the amount of people congregated at the back of the stand at half time is a health hazard. Whilst most hame fans probably enjoy the ground we all get an opinion of other grounds mainly through their away ends, if thats rubbish we think the whole ground is.

I don't want away fans to enjoy coming to Selhurst, so long as us home fans enjoy it, that is all that matters.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Fair point. I never go back their at ht as normally with a 7 year old who won't leave his seat. Have to admit I haven't been away since the prem so I guess I judge on championship days and that's probably unfair.

I went to two games this season, Sunderland and Burnley. Apart from seeing an extremely well hung man in the Arthur Wait toilet pissing like a race horse at the Sunderland game, I generally had a bollocks time.

Was this at any point after half time. If so it narrows the field considerably as most people have f***ed off by that point

My favourite was the Stadium of Sh!te. "Can be a great atmosphere when the team is playing well". Errrm...

The following was edited out of the the article concerning SOS.

"However, watching the home "supporters" walk out as soon as things turn for the worse, usually shortly after the 2nd half kick off, can be entertaining."

He is also anti-support pillars. If he were rating American Baseball stadia, Fenway Park and Wrigley Field would be bottom.

Finally, what does MSN know about any sport, much less football?

Perhaps we should do like Brighton and illuminate the 'away fans concourse' in their team's colours and give the away fans a round of applause....err no, maybe not

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!
