IMO Wilf most definitely would make an all time great Palace team, along with Peter Taylor,John Jackson and Kenny Samson.
Punch really is a terrific player, but not an all time great.

Wilf has to be. He's come through the ranks, proved himself in the Championship AND in the Premier League now I think we can say. His goal tally and appearance record for a player of his age is pretty darn good if you ask me.

People say he doesn't score enough, but Wilf's a true winger in an age where you see fewer and fewer wingers, just wing backs or wide forwards.
To me that's what makes him so special and why he gets so much attention in our team. There isn't a player out there more tricky than him in the whole division when it comes to dribbling imho. Unique. So proud that he's ours, even if he goes in the Summer.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

Puncheon. Clearly not

Zaha, I would put alongside Rogers and Taylor as the best wingers I have seen who have played 50+ games for the club ahead of the likes of Salako, Hilaire Routledge & McGoldrick

He was superb last season too. He was left to try and carry the team for half of it and did a bloody good job of it.

He's made quite the progression this year though. Much stronger on the ball and his vision and passing ability is at a much higher level

In my view Wilf is definitely heading that way, but needs to have the kind of season where he scores 15 goals, and makes as many, to get into the real legend zone. He is a constant threat and finally this season has become more clinical. I'd have put money on him fluffing that chance a couple of years back.

As for Punch...he needs to regain his shooting boots but played well yesterday. If only he wasn't so one-footed he'd be a significantly better player.

It's very true! [Link]

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

Wright, Byrne (from what my dad told me) and Taylor would be the best forward line.

Wilf is pushing Taylor hard for that place but is not quite there yet.
