Very valid thread iro Mr Lee , loved his passion and commitment, shame his superior team member wasn't on the same level.

Lets hope Sammy does stay with us. Was a major factor in our up turn in form. You cannot buy the kind of desire and passion he showed on the touch line and it really rubbed off on the squad.
Curly eagles dad, 45 years of Palace. Never ever a dull moment, Oh Happy Days |

He's fantastic. Reminds me of this little guy in the touchline throughout the game.

Passion, commitment, expertise etc. Lee should automatically stay should he want to.

They generally like to bring in their own team. However Sammy Lee has been fantastic so I for one would like him to stay.

He'll be out the door when the new manager comes in with his team. A real shame because characters like that make me feel very good about football

Indeed, but Millen served under Holloway,Pulis and Pardew. Yes he did, which is quite unusual. It could be that that was what SP wanted and managers we're happy to go along with it. I always thought that Millen was like Dave Dodds in Mike Bassett, "always says yes, well unless you want him to say no" and could blend in without making too many waves.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Millen hasn't been a 'Manager' since he left Bristol C probably about 6 years ago. But he did bring Bolasie to Bristol C from Plymouth.

Have to say that my absolute dream team, would be, Guss Hiddink as manager, Butch Wilkins as assistant manager and Sam Lee as first team coach.
has resisted writing a single post on the Ross McCormack thread !!! |
