Masterful job by Big Sam, especially his January signings and re-establishing Palace as a fundamentally sound team. It may have taken a while but the players finally took his tactics on board. Well done everyone in SE25.

Got 100% confidence in Sam to get the summer recruitment right. Never had faith in Pardew, too many mediocre players brought in. Next season we should be along the likes of West Brom Southampton and Stoke, as an established premiership side, aiming for a top half finish. Tomkins, Benteke, Cabaye, Townsend.....

Can't understand how Alan P. can sit in TV-studio and talk like a know-how manager when he did all he could to get us relegated!!!! Shame on you, Pardew.. Was Pardew on one of the channels today in the studio or are you talking about recent weeks touting himself around?

Well done all at Palace. Looking forward to a historic 5th season in the top flight. That was all I wanted at the start of the year so I for one am pleased. I think nearly everything that could go against us this year did. I know many will say the team are too good for relegation and should have been comfortable in mid-table but I disagree. It was a tremendous achievement to stay strong and it took a really good team to accumulate enough points despite everything so a really great achievement! If this team stays together and we get only average luck then we'll get a mid-table finish next year.

I know he brought in some decent players but he also brought in a lot of dross. Chungy Mutch Adebayor Remy Wickham. Wickham brought in as an upgrade on Murray, do me a favour.

Unfair to Wickham, given his injuries. He's a class player. Anyway, even the best managers don't always get it right. SAF signed some real howlers and Coppell got a few wrong 'uns in as well. Pardew's problem wasn't the players he signed - it was his inability to deploy them effectively that caused difficulties.

Everyone has a different opinion on Wickham, mine is forgetting all the injuries, he's just not good enough. I don't see any improvement on Murray what so ever. Pardew didn't rectify positions that were a problem for us. Needed a new left back plus defensive midfielder was a priority. Think we also need a new number 10 and I think Sam will sort this in the summer. Not a Pardew bashing exercise, because I appreciate what he done for this club, it's just I feel more confident with Sam at the helm to get the majority of the decisions right.
