It will be very close as I don't think we'll win another game. More hoping Hull or Swansea slip up.

I think we'll beat Hull.

Just realised that when we play Hull, Luka will be in opposition to his old boss at Olympiakos. Probably won’t affect any darn thing, but just thought I’d mention it.

Love your optimism. I'd settle for that.

Interesting to hear Jose making a lot of noise about his last league game and having to put out the Manchester United Ladies or something because he's got so many injuries.

Mind games I expect but the injuries do mean we can do them - especially if we don't have to do it under pressure, though.

It would be nice to win at Old Trafford in the league, I hope we're safe by then though so it's not a necessity!

So do I. Maybe draw Man Utd.

we only need one draw from our last 3 games. Get that, and Swansea and Hull will need a miracle Each to both catch us.

And anyway, having lost to Burnley, if we lose another 3 games after that we will genuinely deserve relegation....no ifs or buts. 4 losses on the trot is crappy form.

In Sam we trust

Was thinking back to the crazy days of AP and esp theaway game vs. Swansea. 4-3 up after 90 min, losing 5-4 because our boss "did not care about defence".
Only 1 point in that game (2 less for Swansea) and we would already have been safe....Remember to put that on your CV, Alan!

There is only 3 games left where are you getting 7 from?

Hull, Swansea and Palace have 3 games left each. That is 3x3=9 games. Hull are playing Palace so there are actually 8 games left. If we assume that the Palace v Hull match is a draw then there are 7 games left.

To get relegated, all 7 games would need to go against us. Swansea would need to win all 3, Hull would also need to win the other 2 and we would need to lose our remaining 2.

3+2+2=7.

I haven't done my homework on this, but it seems to me that if we have over 35% possession then we don't win. Burnley and a host of others can come to Selhurst and sit back and catch us on the break much like we do to others. Burnley let us have the ball, but we struggle to break down a well organised defence with the players that we have. I feel that our best chance of staying up lies in Swansea to lose one of their last three games. Next best chance, a point in Manchester. The Hull home game could get us a point if we play it like an away game.
