Watford (2 points better off than us, but with a worse goal difference) have the worst run-in:
Liverpool (H), Leicester , Everton , Chelsea ending with Man City (H).
Then again, we'd need 2 more points to overtake them.

My laptop misbehaved again & threw up random smiley face emoji things. The faces should all read away matches. Apologies.

No it's what happens when we lose our two best players, the replacements aren't good enough and the team is both mentally and physically knackered.

Koeman said this after his lot got stuffed 3 - 0 at home by Chelsea.

"It is really tough to beat Chelsea. They showed today their belief and their quality. They will be champions. We need to find the motivation to finish the season strongly."

No f***ing s***, Sherlock.

Remember Oldham winning their last three games and sending us down on goal difference? 49 points (albeit from 42 games), but not good enough to stay up.

Looking at Swansea's remaining games, I'm fearing a similar scenario. Can anyone offer any words of solace please?

Here's two things to cheer you up.
1) I have just been on a Swansea fans' website and there is no mention of them overtaking Palace. They are only thinking about getting past Hull. Maybe we should all calm down a bit.
2) Next go to SkyBet and put £10 on us going down. Then if the worst happens you get £250 to drink yourself into oblivion. Simples!

Wilf needs to get on phone and tell yala to ask Lukaku to bring his scoring boots to South Wales next week.

Another thing. Why is a home match against Sunderland a nailed-on win? Last time I thought that the home side got thumped 4-0.

Only Palace could beat Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal just before losing their last five games and sealing relegation.

Won't happen - the drop - but if any club could achieve it that way it would be us. We are special. Always have been.

I'm glad you're confident, Kermie. Me, I'm consumed by doubt,

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Swansea have to beat Everton next Saturday. We then have to lose against Hull the following Saturday to really get down to the quick. Unlikely.

Having said that myself, my son and my daughter will be in attendance for Hull and the last-named has, so far, been to Selhurst twice and seen a 0-1 and a 0-1. She's up for adoption if she's get's the hat-trick.

Likewise! I was looking for solace, but am more wracked by doubt than ever before. Bet365 have us at 33/1 for the drop. Bookies can't be wrong, surely...?
