What I will say tho is don't blame the HF. They're the best thing that's happened to this club and they're all angels. They never cause any trouble and are the most important fans.

Surely people shouldn't be damned without evidence?

Pathetic

So that's all right, then.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I saw a lighter fly by but it didn't hit the player. Maybe another did. The lighter came from quite far back. I thought the player must have been hit by a coin which would have been from the front 10 rows or so.

I hate it when away teams choose to goad the noisiest part of our stand. Maybe this will teach them to keep their distance but of course there is no excuse.

The ref did try to pull them away from that area before things were thrown. I thought the Prem had told players not to wind up the opposition supporters on purpose.

I stand in Block B (above the HF) and it came over my head and to my left. I'd say somewhere around row 25-30 Block B or even just into Block C

Is this a fact and do they have the guy responsible? As the most watched group in the ground, if it came from the HF it should be easy to find the culprit with all the surveillance cameras on them. Thing is someone saw it done, someone knows who did it, but you're not allowed to snitch, so the consequent closure of the lower Holmesdale and the enforcement of sitting will be worth the silence, I'm sure?
I don't know who threw it and if it was from the HF then they will of taken stupidity to a new level. Thing is someone even said to me that if the crowd are provoked what do you expect? Provoked, they scored a goal and are allowed to celebrate where they want. Our players quite happily do the same at away grounds as a response to abuse and that's how it should be. If any of you are really serious about the provocation bulls***, then the only cure is to ban away teams from scoring. Totally moronic cure to a totally moronic belief.
Obviously the Adebayor type of celebration is definitely not encouraged, but cupping your ear or shushing is definitely not provocation.

Totally moronic response too. The goal wasn't the provocation. And there's a huge difference between celebrating and goading, If you are going to provoke someone don't be surprised if they retaliate.

Not missing the point

you are

The point that i made was that it was a plastic lighter that bounced of his head and the precious lamb went down like he had been hit by a brick

play acting

And also why did the old bill not step in and do him for inciting a riot or behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace

not once did i say that it was alright to throw things on the pitch
What i said was that the Burnley player was a melt and was play acting

And they call us southern softees
Do me a favour

I thought I saw the ref pick up two lighters and five coins. Not acceptable, we are probably going to get a fine or some other form of punishment.

I think if it was Zaha that got hit away to burnley people would be singing a different tune.

If you can't handle the banter, go watch the Snooker. Only a moron throws stuff or feels there is any justification for doing it. Poor souls being goaded, Bless.

I thought Vardy's celebration against West Brom was close to the mark but he just seems to do that all the time and get away with it. If that was not provocation I'm not sure what is.
