It's interesting. Whenever I saw Mark Hughes play, he seemed to spend most of his time sitting on his arse, after backing into defenders to win free kicks from benevolent referees. Now instead of sitting on it, he seems to be talking out of it. PS I can't forgive another Taff, Chris Coleman, for saying to the cameras before the Cardiff v Palace League Cup semi that "obviously" he wanted the Welsh side to win. No thought for the club that gave him his big break then, and whose fans worshipped him (generally)?

If we're thinking of changing the structure of the competitions, perhaps there should be an Arseholes' Cup. Then people like Coleman and Hughes and Murinho and Zola could all bring their teams and there'd be plenty of referees for them as well. And the rest of us could get on with playing football.

Coleman and Hughes being Welsh are showing their patriotism, but that doesn't mean that they aren't both cnuts,

anybody taking bets on how many hours he has left as Stoke boss ? the world will be a better place to not have him moaning about referee decisions every week on the telly.

He seems to be a dead man walking. We could have done without Newcastle beating Stoke today though ie we could have done with 0-0.

I don't think Toon will get relegated if they get a couple of players in but Stoke look to be bang in the s***. I can't believe Hughes is still there. Chucked away the Chelsea game on the pretext that he was prioritising Newcastle, then lost that match too and lost his s*** in the post-match presser. "Hughes Out" banners everywhere. Not impressive.
