I have worked out the secret of our recent successful form.
When Sam A and Sam L are faced with making decisions on the field of play during matches instead of drawing on their 60-70 odd years of joint footballing knowledge and experience obviously they just look at each other and have a WWMD (what would Mattteo do) moment!

Everything becomes crystal clear to them in an instant, there is no need for diagrams, no discussion required, this is exactly what to do, job done, its uncanny!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

When it was precisely the fielding of these players the other way around that turned the tide and started getting goals in for Palace and the winning streak.
He's just repeating Pardew's mistake

Yeah, I know I'm gonna be bashed for this, but somebody has to say it. Has he not realized yet that they both play better on the side of their favourite foot?
Or does he feel it's all safe, no worries anymore, and he's just experimenting?

Do you like being slagged off?

It's always interesting reading a controversial post as I enjoy seeing the responses from the intellectually challenged

Poor 'Matteo' has been pilloried (I know the feeling !) but maybe he really believes in what he is saying and decided that it would stimulate debate on HOL.

Whereas all it has achieved is a load of puerile grunting

Wow, what a s***e thred. Clearly Sam hasn't got a clue! If you'd have been watching Palace recently you'd have noticed that Wilf and Townsend regularly swap wings during the course of a match.
Stick to scouting obscure players from championship manager or FIFA or were ever you pluck them from. Poor mans stato.
We lost because Spurs are better, the ref was kind to them and we were tired.

Actually I would have thought it was racist and disablist language and should not be used.

On this occasion I haven't engaged in any "Puerile grunting".

All I will say is that managers have been known to change their wide men around during the course of a game if they feel that one or more is/are not being as effective as they would like offensively or to counter a particular problem in terms of defensive duties etc etc.

Why on earth is it racist ?

I can understand that it could be construed as "Disablist" and I for one would never use this word as it refers to "Learning difficulties".
