Well with Brighton and Newcastle back with us next year, will be interesting to see how our ex strikers Gayle and Murray perform if they get extended runs in the Prem next season, might answer a few questions that Pardew never asked of them!! I'm also hoping that Sheffield Wednesday get the third spot so that we can see what Bannan and Hunt can do in the Premiership given the benefit of a run of games

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |

I think Murray got to the Prem just too late in his career. I think he offers far more all round play than Gayle and might have done all right a few years ago. Gayle does not have the all-round game so if not scoring adds very little to the team hence why unlikely to succeed in the prem but does very well in the Championship in a successful side.

Well, as has been said before I think, if he hadn't got injured and had been able to play for us in the Prem from the off then it could've been a different story. Gayle was never good enough, for some reason it seems to be more so for strikers that can cut it in the championship but not at the highest level. Him and Murray being yet other examples. Lets not try and blame AP for this one! like rashford and sakho. bagged loads in the championship and can't score in the PL.

Any chance that someone might bring Wilbraham into the discussion? Also, how is Connor Wickham progressing?
