He said he was considering changes to maintain the level of performance, not in order to put our feet up. We will obviously have Sakho back, and I don't know what state Tomkins is in after what should have been a sending-off for some thug in a red shirt. I can see him resting Cabaye or maybe Milivojevic for McArthur; he will presumably start van Aanholt instead of Schlupp; and we may indeed swap goalies.

Yep but I feel after yesterday they could well be their for the taking. Like the Arse, Chelski won't include the Scousers as we are their scourge at the momemnt, we are due one against them in the league.

Sakho, JMac and PVA make sense but can't see the goalie changing.

We are safe yes. We are not going down. Perhaps West Ham, Bournemouth and Burnley should be considered more likely candidates.

Disagree, but only because Big Sam doesn't strike me as the type of boss who takes his foot of the gas. We should respect but not fear anyone. That's not cocky, that a testament to this team right now.

He actually said in his after match interview that he would make massive changes for Spurs due to three games in six days.

May start Flamini instead of Cabaye or Luca

Wilf, Cabaye and Benteke got early baths. PvA can start for Sclupp. Put Mac in for Townsend to shore up the middle, then bring him on against tired legs later. Sakho back if Tomkins can't go.

It's not like the old days; our fresh legs are our old everyday starters.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

That could be the ol' mind games.

Whatever; when in Palace history would we have had class players like Sakho, PVA and Jimmy Mac to bring in to "rest tired legs"? We've become a class act!!

Definitely, close but I'm too familiar with hubris to celebrate yet.

Yep and even more amazing we doing this without Dann at the back and Wickham up front to name but a few.
