And you would be right. The most premature baby to survive ever was in Canada born at 22 weeks gestation (18 weeks early) I didn't look this up by the way I just know slot about premature babies as my son was born 16 weeks early at 24 weeks gestation. That's pretty extreme. My daughter was born at 27 weeks. Always been impatient. Mayday was genuinely brilliant. A top SCBU. Edited by Mapletree (25 Apr 2017 12.04pm)

I think its time we maybe went back to the old boundries , Purley and Coulsdon district council should detatch from Croydon and leave Croydon to sort its own s***e out . The site for the proposed 17 storey building is Banstead Road/Brighton road/Russell Hill Purley which currently houses the Library, empty shops and the Baptist Church. The proposed 220 flats new Church and community building has been put forward by the Baptist Church who own the site and have done for years. It is in the middle of Purley and although the site badly needs developing 17 stories would be excessive and totally out of keeping with the area. Chris Philp sent out an email enclosing a letter he sent to the Secretary of State asking him to intervene Dear All,

I calculate that to be 15 weeks gestation. This guy just doesn't know his ar*e from his elbow does he. Brilliant spot! Says it all as to how too many of our MPs prey upon the naivete and / or disinterest of far too much of the electorate.

A close friend of my wife also had a baby at around the same gestation. The survival rate nowadays is simply staggering, compared to even 15, 20 years ago. One thing to be thankful for.

One thing to be thankful for. Yup. The paediatrician more or less told us to give up on any hope of survival. Then the SCBU team came crashing in, said they do these all the time and whisked her off. Apart from a bent head from laying on one side all the time without amniotic fluid no obvious problems. Just smells of sheep.
