If we're gonna spend big on one player i'd rather we try for Sakho.

If Swansea go knock 10-15 off his valuation. If we got him then he'd play in puncheon's position.

IF we buy sako, and that's a big if, that'll be 30mil, if this guy costs a min 20mil, I honestly don't see us spending 50/60 mil touches in the summer window. unless of course we sell big somewhere. we do need however, admittedly, need upgrades on keeper, right back, a CAM/support striker. if we are to move up a level, bojan for cam would be terrific

That's different Oscar went to China where until recently they had that money to spend. Now the Chinese FA have closed that loophole and that sort of silly money won't be spent. I'm sorry but Siggurdson is worth 15 million tops.

Another one whose stock went up following a good Euros but who has been s***e since then. Swansea are heavily dependent upon him and they're in the s*** - tells you everything you need to know.

He has scored 10 goals this season from midfield in a struggling team so this isn't a bad return at all. That said, he hasn't scored a league goal since February.

Edited by Willo (20 Apr 2017 7.28am) There are no bigger clubs than a Londan based club who can offer the wages we can. Get with the times Willo old mate.

You make it sound as though we are a 'Big' club with significant pulling power when in reality there are other clubs who might be significantly more attractive to top players. In general clubs across the PL pay good wages and they don't have an old stadium with gates of only @ the 25,000 mark.We are far from established as a PL team whereas others are seen in this category and have the facilities to match.
