why isn't anybody suggesting Benteke?

AJ turned an average team into an exceptional one and good as Wrighty was he did Have Bright alongside him
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

Wright left when I was a toddler so I never saw him play for us. AJ and Clinton Morrison for me were a different class. Morrison probably my favourite because family members had ties to him and had only the best things to say about him. Edited by coulsdoneagle (14 Apr 2017 4.00pm)

My favourite palace strikers of my time have been Armstrong, Wright, Freedman and AJ but for most of my favourite memories AJ wins hands down.

I should've known he was going to be crap, because we were skint and scraping the barrel by then as the team of the 80's were gradually jumping ship!!

Still have a soft spot for Chris Armstrong. Paid a huge wedge (at the time) for a Milwall unknown but the guy stepped up and was sublime.

Close call between Yaya Sanogo, Ade Akinbiyi and Patrick Bamford for me.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |
