Allardyce Im sure will push the owners to pay top money to keep Sakho and Zaha and also encourage them to go after big summer targets .
If we can keep hold of the squad, we have a very very good chance of getting top 10 with Sam in charge
We will of course move on a few , Campbell , Delaney , etc
But all is looking very good if we can secure safety

When we think we on to a good thing. We usually shoot ourselves in the foot. Tony pulis 1st season. We had momentum and he walked out over transfer policy. Alan Pardew 1st season everything was going rosey until he thought he could turn us into Barca style with Delaney in the back 4. Let's enjoy the current success but let's not get carried away. A question is big Sam look like a great manager because of Alan Pardew failings?

Big mistake for us to sell Wilf - even for 35m. The reason is we don't do possession. We defend and we attack. Zaha is so good that we can have extra defenders and STILL be a scoring threat because Zaha regularly beats 2,3,4+ defenders and now either scores or assists. No one is going to be better than Zaha at beating defenders - tell me who if you know of anyone - and then tell me how much money they'll cost. Also, Zaha will now be getting attention from the television people: he has an entertainment factor, and we need that to attract future fans as well. Also, Zaha is now less of a lone ranger, now combining very well with Townsend and Benteke: why upset that? Come on! This team has 'clicked', Zaha is emerging into the superstar we all know he destined to become, is still young, and will probably end up at Barcelona or RM. Why sell him for 35m and watch Spurs sell him for double that in 3 years time? KEEP HIM.

It doesn't work like that. When was the last player that joined a European giant the likes of Barca, juve,r Madrid or Bayern Munich from a club the size of Palace. It's great in theory but zaha will want to test himself in the champions league with a spurs or Man City. If he then shines in the champions league then he would join a Barca or a Madrid. Zaha was tempted to leave in the august window. I would love him to stay and humiliate Brighton one last time.

I don't think that Spurts would pay 50mil either and I wouldn't sell for less than that but it all depends on what Wilf wants.

If a club like Chelski or the Arse come in for him at 35mil, that could be enough for Wilf to request a transfer. If he doesn't, that's all good to me but when SP comes out and says he's going nowhere, although I like the commitment to keep our best players, I believe he is going to want to go.

Everton can't keep Lukaku, we face the same problem with Wilf and to some extent attracting Sakho to the club.

Apparently lukaku was to to leave. We don't know what wilf wants. If he wants out, it's only a matter of how much.

Spot on, his trajectory would more like follow Gareth Bale. Also in terms of keeping him I think it will follow Yannick's departure last season. The club will try everything to keep him but ultimately it will be the players decision.

If we go a goal up at Old Trafford Sam will give us a demonstration of his dad-dancing.

We will likely lose Wilf and Sakho and maybe Cabaye.
They will leave a huge hole if they go and we will not be able to fill their boots with the same class sadly.
If somehow they stayed then we really could go places!

I think we should be worrying about our Manager leaving before any of our star players. If Sam keeps us up, his domestic stock will rise even further and a bigger Prem club might try and poach him as a result!

Keep Sam and we have a better chance of convincing certain players that there is a real opportunity to further their career in SE25 …

All the above is academic if we get relegated though! Ha!

Agree and kind of as you say, they go hand in hand. Players might stay if deals are right and Sam stays if his and their deals are right and most are kept.

Interesting reading on Sakho and Wilf and Parish's views. Let's not forget that Wilf recently signed a new contract so it's going to cost any team a pretty fortune to get him out of it.

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!
