Arsenal we NEVER beat 2 completely different games really. Chelsea was such a great defensive display, whereas Arsenal we just simply outplayed them in all areas. You know what, why pick one, equally amazing results for different reasons and performance.

For me, Arsenal. I don't mind Arsenal but it felt like more of a shock result. We've done Chelsea before a couple of times in this recent stint in the Prem. Not only that, I thought even under Pardew we made Chelsea look ordinary in the reverse fixture so as awesome as it was, I wasn't as surprised as I was by us completely demolishing Arsenal.

Both wins were fantastic. From a football standpoint Chelsea were very good on the day so beating them was very gratifying. However, the over-entitled Arsenic supporters gave me a huge amount of Schadenfreude, especially since Palace stuffed them 3-0. I have to rate the two even for different reasons.
Divorced...And LOVING it! |

Agree, we've done relatively well against Chelsea since being back in the Prem, but we have struggled to even take a point off of Arsenal despite some admirable displays. We (and Sam) always had a backs to the wall, ride your luck, sneak a win against much better opposition result in us, but I had absolutely no notion that we could play Arsenal off of the park and be disappointed that the score wasn't more than 3 - 0. So given I don't remember the 1994 game, but do remember the 1979 result at least. To say Arsenal are a poor side totally ignores the quality they have at their disposal. Their bench that night had the following outfield players: Ours was Kaikai, Fryers(!), Delaney, Flamini and McArthur, all of whom (apart from McArthur) would struggle to make the Arsenal development squad. Therefore, in spite of Arsenal's recent form, for me it was probably the most unlikely result and performance since the last 10 minutes against Liverpool.

For me, winning away to the Champions elect was the better of the two. But of course the win against Arsenal was a stupendous result. Both unexpected victories.
