Agreed about the coverage before the game, this was very poor in terms of build up and no focus on Palace in any way.

That being said, for 30 minutes after the game the coverage was fully on how well Palace played. I think to criticise Sky for that segment of the show to be quite unfair!

I quite enjoy pictures of Arse fans melting down and as for the pictures of Arsene looking like a ferret that's tried to eat one of those Scotch Bonnet chilli peppers - excellent.

But the best one of all was the ball flying from Cabaye's foot and sailing past the Arsenal keeper into the net followed by a look on Giroud's face that made clear that they knew they were goosed.

tbh I did not think it was too bad and we got a lot of credit. the show started I hour before kick off so there is a lot to fill in. like somebody else said it was rainieris first interview since he was sacked so I found that quite good.
as for talk s***e, never listen to that crap, 5 minutes of talk then followed by 7 minutes of adds

What did you expect? People are much more interested in Arsenal's troubles.

I do think they should have had a big chat with Ranieri on a separate programme though; was a bit odd hearing so much about everything except the game that evening.

says it all.

at about 80 mins gone, there were several streams of people walking out of the Arthur too, I doubt any Palace fan , traffic or not, would have left that match early last night, so great to see that the segregation is working.

The Sky commentator questioned whether Cabaye really intended the shot when he scored - suggesting it may have been a miss-hit. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Cabaye is most accurate passer in the Palace side. He saw the top-left corner and floated the ball into it. Stunning confidence and technique.

c***!

I listened to the post match chat this morning and I thought Ranieri was very complimentary about us. He mentioned passion, playing for each other, prepared to fight for each other, our shape, our quality etc. etc. etc. His English is limited but he gave us a lot of credit.

I actually enjoyed listening to Ranieri and thought he was complimentary about Palace. To paraphrase one thing he said ... "we were a team drowning but are now swimming".

To be fair, I do find the Arsenal meltdown quite entertaining and funny and am always quite happy to tune in to that deluded lot moaning!

Talk s***e have given their fair share of credit to Palace, but have spent the whole day focusing on how bad Arsenal were - not a surprise!

We all know how good we were last night.
The media only want to write headline news about big teams. Write about the demise of big name managers and have an agenda against smaller clubs doing well. In essence they are snobs.
BBC's opening gambit on Radio Five yesterday afternoon was "if (meaning when) Arsenal beat Palace tonight they will be 4th in the league".
For them it was a given. Their coverage of Palace and other "lower league" clubs on MOTD is simply biased and often rude. Their pundits like AS dislike us and other teams that orbit around us. Sky are on a par. The only truth is to go the matches week in and week out and judge for oneself. Nothing beats live football. If no one wants to report on us in England then so be it, but we were a top sporting news story on German ZDF TV when we beat Chelsea. I was there that weekend watching the coverage. Our sporting media is not the whole World. Luvvies at the Beeb love them selves so much that soon they may well vanish up their own rectums. It's annoying, frustrating and very irritating but MOTD and the likes on Sky UK are thankfully not the entire sporting Universe.
