All a bit cyclical but it is pretty easy to attribute much of the blame to the system. Which was definitely Tory created. And the lite-touch regulation that was in place was fought tooth-and-nail by the Tories whenever Labour did try and implement it. But they're all thieving ba$tards so it isn't really worth arguing the point too much. No argument here... but the poster I responded to had ALL of the blame on the Bullingdon Boys.... which I took issue with obviously.

In 2007, after 3 decades of neoliberal economics, the banks told Alistair Darling, the then Chancellor of the Exchequer, that the money had run out and asked him what he was going to do about it. He bailed them out with our money.

The notion of financial armageddon is nothing more than scaremongering put forward by the elite/those who cause the problems to scare the bejezuz out of the blinkered..........and you fall for it time after time.

The global financial system - the biggest long firm fraud in history. Money conjured out of thin air in the first place suddenly vanishes. Now you see it, now you don't. We, the people, are being robbed blind yet still maintain some blinkered belief that we can vote the corrupt c*nts out every five years, only to be replaced by a new shower of unprincipled bandits. Politicians of all hues and persuasions are all in on the game. I don't trust any of the f*ckers. It's why I don't vote.

Because you keep banging on about the economy (which you clearly don't understand how it works, but constantly trot out Union soundbites) whereas the rest of us are talking about the problems with our infrastructure and loss of wildlife habitat caused by having too many immigrants.

Hospitals A&E depts for example.... no amount of government planning could provide the solutions to today's numbers being seen. The "pesky foreigners" as you call them have been allowed to settle here, so you can't blame them specifically but if you are sensible you will note the effect they are having. Alternatively, you could have a political agenda and blame everything on the Tories. Edited by Hoof Hearted (13 Apr 2017 12.22pm)
