Cabaye out, but McArthur hopefully fit, and Ledley back and perfectly fit (he's a better option than Flamini, at least). With a bit of luck, Ledley will be busting a gut to impress, given he'll need a new contract from the summer. And maybe, like Wayno, he'll have shed some timber to bring his performance & stamina up to a higher level. Let's face it, Allardyce has managed to get more out of a few of them so maybe Ledley'll be another who'll pick it up.

In that Sunderland fiasco he was f***ing s***e and we can't afford any more performances like that. Edited by chateauferret (06 Apr 2017 4.04pm)

I have no thoughts for Arsenal apart from we are going to get a result against those north London( really south London outfit) wannabes on Monday.

A win for us folks...about time we did them at Selhurst on TV and the way they have played for the past few games I think we have a good chance of the three points.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Last night, as I was walking home from work, I really thought: bring it the f*** on. With the relative form of the two sides, this could finally be the moment we not only beat the Ars but actually really deserve to. Well ain't football a fickle mistress. We lost last night because Cabaye went off, allowing them to totally dominate. I know there is an argument for Flamini but, for me, the bloke's legs have totally gone. Not blaming Sako either as we had 3 wingers on so we're never gonna compete. So...assuming Cabaye is out for Monday and JMac not ready to start...how to we set up? If Tomkins were back, I'd be tempted to put Kelly RB and Ward alongside Luka. Thoughts? We were second best most of the game time and time again they got behind us in the end we were well beaten by a very good side. Arsenal should beat us but so should have Chelsea. Punchoen Kelly Schlupp will need to up their game or not play, Wilf and AT will need to protect them better if they do play.

Hopefully then Hennesey Kelly, Ledley, Lee, Flamini etc. on the bench.

This is what I would do: GK - Hennessey RB - Ward DM - Milivojevic ST - Benteke
If only it were White, rather than Yellow! |

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Don't give Arsenal the initiative from the start by playing 5 at the back.
