It's certainly a game that we wont want to lose, but then again aren't they all? I suspect that the Southampton match will be similar to the Watford match with few (if any) shots on target with both teams playing not to lose as opposed to playing for the win. I'll be ecstatic with a win, happy with a draw and not too upset with a loss.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

He's just expressing an opinion lads. Don't take things to heart... pundits often get it wrong. if you want a good laugh.... read his autobiography "How not to be a professional footballer".... Hilarious, easy read... amazing how much money he spent on gambling, booze and drugs! Oops.... spoiler alert....

On paper we could do with winning it but on paper we had no chance of winning Saturday so it all evens itself out. Wins sometimes come from the most unlikely of sources as Saturday showed. I think there will be another upset somewhere. Possibly arsenal depending which arsenal turn up or possibly liverpool. Got a feeling we might turn them over.

But a defeat at Southampton (Likely) and a likely Hull win home to Middlesbrough will leave Hull just a point behind us although we will have a game in hand. We still have it all to do to avoid the drop given our remaining fixtures.

Merson is remarkably pro Palace I asked the question why a few weeks ago and someone told me it was something about his wife and Steve copells family or something? Either way I think the guy is one of the best at predicting the results and it is an important game for us. It's not must win but I think it's important to get at least a point. It would have been must win had we not won at the bridge because it was vital that in this little tough run we keep our form and get 4 points or thereabouts.

Chelsea wasn't that much of an unlikely source of a win. We've now won 3 out of 8 games against them in our latest spell in the Premier League
