Sakho was definitely down with cramp. He looked fine when celebrating with the fans after the game.

Think he's enjoying south London life..

Let's hope he wants to stay!

Southampton are a bit of a bogey team especially away from home. We beat them in the fa cup last season. We are yet to get a point at st Mary's

Lots of narratives here. Palace are rolling like thunder while Southampton are coming off a dull derby draw with Bournemouth (at home) which they achieved only after Bournemouth missed a penalty. Southampton are falling back into the relegation fight while Palace are working on climbing out of it.

We have to expect them to be tight and cautious on Wednesday, because of the above and because Zaha (and Benteke) will scare the living s***e out of them. Bournemouth aside, they've shipped some goals of late - 8 in the 3 games prior. Weirdly, we don't need the points from this game so that will allow us to be loose and free.

A lot will depend on which, if any, of our CBs are fit to play. But I can see this trundling along at 0-0 for a while. The longer that goes, the more you'd fancy us to nick it.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

I seriously doubt we'll face more attacks and turn away as many shots as we did in that Chelsea game again this season. That was the toughest game of the season for sure and we've come through it - not saying that means we'll win every other game or even that I'm particularly sure of 3 points on Wednesday, but the players must be very confident having got through Saturday's storm.

The Premier League injury list doesn't show Sakho as injured but apparently Gabbiadini is not playing?

I'll take a point right now if I was offered. Saints may have nothing to play for but are still a very good side.

Sakho looked perfectly fine when dancing on the pitch after the game on Saturday and he wasn't mentioned as being a concern post game.

Gabbiadini will face a late fitness test from what I have read. We stand a much better chance if he's not fit. Van Dijk looks like he certainly won't be fit.

I thought Chelsea did everything they could to beat us. That was a master class in defending, and even then the keeper played an absolute blinder.

The problem for us, is going to be defensive numbers. We'll probably be down PVA, Scott Dann and Tompkins. Plus having played Saturday, it could be a big ask for Delanny and Sahko to go the full 90, with only Kelly for cover.

Gabbiadini is out according to Puel: [Link]

Our defensive cover is an issue though. Sakho & Damo should be ok but Tomkins may not be and Dann is probably out for the rest of the season
