Yeah, same here really - humans, animals, inanimate objects, theories ...

Nothing wrong with animals. Homo sapiens, however, is largely a verminous specie.

We live in the free world, people can air their views as they please. There is a world of difference in expressing a view as an opinion and expressing a view directly at someone in an offensive manner.

Unfortunately, there are some people on this site, who want to ram their views down other people throats, if you then reply with an opposing view, the outcome is usually to be called a w***er or c**t. Which brings a smile, as they haven't the intelligence to exchange views in a civilised way.

This planet would be a wondrous place if it wasn't for us human scum.

I'm not so sure about that these days.

As it's comic relief I reckon you should donate a quid everytime you use the words the liberal left.

You can't be liberal if you are intolerant it is an oxymoron. I'm genuinely interested in what people on here say. I'm a proper Liberal, don't read the Guardian because I find it preachy and slightly simplistic but other than that I would cover most of the tick boxes for liberal . I see nothing wrong in being liberal it means I seek to understand the motivation and rational of others, what makes a 52 year old family man drive a car at random strangers on bridge in the name of Allah what makes someone murder people on summer camp for a greater Norway. Trying to understand doesn't mean condoning it means trying to stop it happening again.

Just the liberal left or the liberal right and liberals too?

Some on the left will try and shut down debate but equally some on the right will go out of their way to be offensive and then moan about snowflakes when challenged. Good and bad on either side

And anyone who does usually gets red carded.
But you can't then go on to say that they have no intelligence because that is an example of the sort of personal abuse, albeit not profanity, that you are complaining about.

I didn't say they have no intelligence, just not enough intelligence to express their opinion without swearing. How can the truth be a sort of personal abuse?

Because some people are uncomfortable with, or blind to, the truth and hide their stupidity behind being 'offended' which, these days, puts the lid on pretty much everything.
