The girls are often 'difficult' youngsters from less than stable families leading chaotic lives. They are termed, 'vulnerable', which means that in most...but not all cases.... they are difficult to work with and often reject help rather than tow any establishment interference. This makes them ideal prey for pedophiles. There is a racial aspect to this...especially the frankly justified fears state actors had of being accused of racism. That can entirely be laid at the feet of the over-reactionary elements of the left. But the racial aspects need to be kept within its context. The response of the authorities to 'vulnerable' difficult groups is more telling.....We need more social workers, more people going into these professions. We need to treat them better...the professionals are already paid quite well....We need to keep politics out of it....Politics ultimately harms institutions and creates distrust between the executive and the worker. Just like the Police should do.....Do the job, straight down the line....f-ck what the politicians, media or focus groups think. None of this is going to get better of course...just my little moan.

Haven't read about this case let me say that from the outset but I get the gist and have read about rotherham. I will say what I have said on this matter before. Vulnerable girls like those targeted are often ignored as they are trouble makers who have gone flying off the rails often from 'problem' families.. not right but that's why they are often not listened to. Secondly and I have spoke at length about this .. growing up I had lots of black and Asian friends , white girls at my school in many form groups were in a minority. A lot (not all) but a lot of blacks, Asians and eastern Europeans look at white girls as slags, tramps, slappers and easy meat basically. Once a girl has been with one of them she is looked at in that way as easy and not shown a lot of respect. I have known of plenty of white boys and men who feel the same way once they find out a girl has been with anyone like that. One of my own brothers in particular felt this way and I was quite clearly told that as his younger sister.
When I was a young girl my Mother said to me.. You listen here kid you're CPFC |

Also, correct me if I am wrong, but I think Mohammed might be the most common first name in Britain now? I nearly said "Christian name".

I don't understand how this is not being reported on any major news outlet (having checked the BBC, Telegraph, Guardian, Independent and Mail). It doesn't even appear to be on one of the sub-pages. A 29 people abuse ring sounds, to me at least, like a huge number of people to be systematically targeting and abusing vulnerable young people - even more so given the relatively small population of a place like Huddersfield. Small comfort for those who suffered but at least the authorities have acted in this instance rather than sweep it under the carpet. You don't? I'd say it's fairly obvious.
