Out of the ones that you have put up I have to say that for me it would be no. 3. Although generally I don't like the newer kits. The tone of the colours remind me of a bag of sweets the way they are put together. Especially the current away kit, it's just the wrong yellow but the design itself is ok. My favorite away kit of all time is this one. I only wear it on special occassions. Edited by Mr Palaceman (12 Apr 2017 1.56pm) Attachment: 21022010187.jpg (580.51Kb)

Number 3 for me: there's a toughness about it somehow, Mile Jedinak & this generation's Sakho would look awesome in it and it doesn't have the colour clash of number 1's pale-blue & red. I have fond memories of the Brazil-style kit- looked great on Geoff Thomas & John Salako I recall in relatively good times for Palace.

It was not like it is today where Clubs have two or three kits each season together with a string of Club clothing items to tempt supporters to part with their cash. I watched from the Whitehorse Road end and it was a large hill at the time with rails and old railway sleepers built in to stop you from slipping down when it was muddy. Just the Main Stand to accommodate any of the 30,000 fans who wished to sit. By the way, there were hardly any Club Shops at the time from which to buy kit and on-line shopping hadn't been invented. I often went home from matches soaking wet and covered with mud but boy did we love it. Of the kits that have been mentioned previously, I rather liked no.3.

Of those mentioned... Number 1 (1980-83) is first and foremost for me as it brings back great memories of some of the first matches I went to, including t***ting Arsenal in 79 (in the white home sash). Then it would have to be the black "evil" sash as they say. I also rate the Centenary shirt, and of our many yellow away shirts I'd vote for the Admiral 2003/04 away, with sky blue trim.
Mine's a light and bitter. |

N0.4 Very similar indeed to our home kit for a season or two when I first started watching palace regularly in the mid 70's.

The Brazil kit (2) is my all time favourite, but last seasons (4) was very cool and probably the best of all the shirts with sponsors logos.
